Food ok, price good for Santiago - Edit
Update March 2024: food is still good. Price 6400 pesos (approx US$6.50) for 4 portions and includes a drink. Probably the best value in Santiago.

Arrive by 100pm to get a table. I would classify the food as average but the price is very good for Santiago. As of January 2019 you can choose three items for 2900 pesos or a plate with four items for 3500 pesos. They have free glasses of water next to the cash register. They are located at the intersection of Nathaniel [censored] and Ovalle.

Budget Lunch - Edit
This is a casual, less formal and budget- friendly place. It’s a buffet so I don't have to practice my Spanish while ordering food. Simply home made and fresh lunch/dinner. Some are vegetarian dishes, not vegan. So maybe check with them first.

We came here to eat lunch. You can choose different combinations of vegan / vegetarian food for low prices. There weren't so many vegan choices but the food was nice. We didn't try the juices. They offer free lemon water.

The food tasted OK but nothing special, the juice even tasted nice.
A good option if you are hungry and just need something to eat.

went on a weekday at around 1pm, the place was packed out, with a line up right out the door. it is cafeteria style, with a set price for 3 or 4 items (about 5 or 6 bucks) lots of food, and a good number of vegan items. they also have fresh juices and desserts. some of the dishes are chinese style,and the food is more flavourful than alot of other places in chile. a great place fod a good deal on lunch!

my favorite restaurant now in Santiago, vegetarian buffett of very creative and delicious food for 2.000 pesos about 4.00, and A LOT of food, my boyfriend goes everysingle day for lunch. Only downside is they are only open for lunch.
