Great place to eat near Manuel Antonio - Edit
This place was a bit hard to find, you go through the entrance to the Hotel California and just keep driving even after the road seems to end, until you enter an opening with trees at the end which is where you can park, its at the top of the hill. The food here is good, nice atmosphere too. They take credit cards now as well which is nice.

Don't miss out on this little gem in Quepos, Costa Rica! - Edit
It feels like you're in a romantically fancy tree house -- I didn't even notice the kitchen was just steps away until after we placed our orders, when the kitchen staff busily got to work as we looked on.
Read moreWe ordered the carrot soup (the highlight of the meal), the Pad Thai (a unique and refreshing interpretation, that we took turns devouring), and a "casado" entree (can't remember the name) that had pureed squash, a ridiculously tasty taco salad-esque bowl, fried plantains and some other tasty veggies for good measure.
Everything was made fresh, beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell that someone really took pride in making unique & distinctive dishes.
Pros: Very romantic! Great for couples!, Interesting, unique dishes you can't get elsewhere, Beautifully prepared and delicious
Cons: A little tricky to get to, but worth the trouble!

such an unreal, incredible vegan restaurant - Edit
We got lost trying to find this place. Go through the entrance to the hotel California and it's at the back up the hill. Once you find it it's a total gem! Great service, friendly staff and WONDERFUL food. We had the vegan pad thai and the pumpkin dish (can't remember the exact name) . Both were excellent, although the pad Thai was slightly better. Amazing flavors , and great prices too. Must try this place!!!

What an amazing delight! - Edit
Super tasty 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan restaurant in a top of the world location. We had the Pad Thai, choosing spiralized veggies (vs rice noodles) -- bursting with flavor! Also the middle-Eastern plate ... the dolmas, I had to close my eyes to pick out all the interesting combined flavors. Everything was fresh and healthy. We will be coming back every evening of our stay here.
