Good, freshly cooked quinoa bowl - Edit
Vegan and veggie places seemed a bit sparse near the MOMA so we were pleased to find this cafe on 7th Ave on our walk home (I understand there are actually quite a few branches in NYC). I chose a quinoa bowl with tofu, spinach and grapes in a ginger sauce - slightly wacky combo but it worked quite well and was cooked in front of me. You could select any three of a variety of veggies to add to the quinoa or rice base. The Orange juice was fresh, service pleasant and helpful - so although the style and decor of the place was more in keeping with burger and chips we actually enjoyed a very nice, healthy meal.
