Most amazing Vegan Cuisine - Edit
I honestly have just had one of my most delicious and satisfying Vegan meals ever! We shared a few European inspired dishes, Stuffed Capsicums with delicious rice mix and Swedish meatballs on a bed of the finest mash potatoes with a side order of delicious fries. The food was only matched by the great service. Do yourselves a favor try this place out you won’t be disappointed by the great food and exceptional service 👍🌱

Loved it! - Edit
Such amazing staff and the food was really nice. My only downside was some dishes didn't have enough salt (compared to my European upbringing of the dishes) but was still really nice. The dessert especially the sticky date was amazing!

European food! - Edit
This is a great idea for a restaurant because there is no shortage of vegan restaurants with Southeast Asian/Indian/Middle Eastern/South American food but less with traditional European dishes as they are so often meat and cheese heavy. This place has veganised a number of European dishes, pretty much one classic dish from each country. Extensive menu to choose from including dessert. Very enthusiastic waiter. We both really liked our meals, although a hair in mine kind of put me off but I guess that can happen anywhere. I hope to return to try their tiramisu.

Food is a lot of fun - Edit
It’s a tall order going full vegan with traditional European food and this place is really committed to it. Staff are very helpful and prices are more than reasonable but the highlight is the food.
Read moreIt might not be the best I’ve had but it’s the most fun I’ve had with eating food that triggers that emotional trigger of “home food”.

Dobro - Edit
It's great to see some of the dishes I grew up eating, veganised i. e. sarma (cabbage rolls) and stuffed capsicums. Hopefully, they will make the borek vegan as well.
Read moreThe servings are very generous and the prices reasonable. Two mains (sarma and kebapi), plus a mince pie was around $33. The food was well prepared and presented although much saltier than I am used to.

I was there last night for the first time - I'll correct you in saying IT IS 100% VEGAN. I challenged the main guy / manager with lots of questions re cheese, honey.....you name it. I scrolled through every meal, dessert and beverage in their restaurant. ALL PURELY VEGAN. CONFIRMED.

Glad to hear that is the case now; not the case when I visited.

Yeah I think some places possibly start as vegetarian and may switch to vegan, as was the case with Vegie Bar many years ago, and a couple of others. I heard that Smith & Daughters has a 'meat-eating/carnivore' owner, which is disappointing. I can't respect, nor support them. For me, they are not the real deal. Perhaps just saw an opportunity and now cashing in on the ever-growing vegan market. Really unfortunate!

Exciting options - Edit
Really enjoyed our visit to Euro Kitchen.
Read moreWe struggled to decide what to have, because everything looked just so good. Eventually we ordered the zucchini and eggplant fried with a dip that was delightfully garlicky. We also ordered the bean stew which was tasty and the stuffed capsicum with a mock mince in the filling which was also something else. Despite being extremely full we found ourselves convinced by a friendly staff member that the apple crumble was worth trying. I also had my eye on the caramel slice which was on the specials board. So we ordered both. Enjoyed them both immensely.
Highly recommend this place because it has a broad range of interesting options, tasty traditional foods, delightful service, comfortable seating and prices are reasonable.

Lovely staff, enjoyable food - Edit
We had the vegie burger with chips and the kebab. The chips were very good. The burger patty had a very ‘meaty’ taste which my friends loved, although I prefer a less ‘meaty’ burger. The kebab was enjoyable with a good combination of flavours.
Read moreStaff were lovely and the venue was comfortable. I would like to come back and try other less ‘meaty’ menu items. The dessert menu looks good if I have room for dessert next time!

O.....M.....G...... soooooooooooo good!!! :) - Edit
Went here for lunch yesterday for the first time with my friend who had been once before. Had a 1/2 hour car park, so planned to just have a quick bite to eat, but just had a feeling once getting inside that I needed to move the car to a longer spot and have a more relaxed lunch and am sooooooooooo glad we did. What an overall, awesome experience!!! The food was delicious!!! We shared the Polenta with Ratatouille, and the roasted vege salad which were both very, very tasty and wonderfully satisfying; then of course we ‘needed’ dessert. My friend ordered the choc, caramel tartufo and I ordered the sticky date pudding. I tasted a little of her tartufo first and OMG….I was in dessert Heaven!!! I think it is the yummiest dessert I have ever had!!! The sticky date was totally amazing too. I think, though, my tastebuds have been spoiled forever now with that divine tartufo!!!
Read moreThe 2 staff there at the time, - Nick, (the owner ?) and the gorgeous Swedish chef were both so friendly and engaging, and passionate about animals and their meals. The pricing was very reasonable too for the generous servings.
Though I am from the country, I plan to visit this awesome vegan restaurant often….and will also definitely be recommending it to all my friends – vegan or not!!! Thanks guys for a terrific lunch experience :).

Definitely worth checking out - Edit
I've now been here twice and both times the food and the service have been 10/10. The portions are very generous, pricing is modest and the quality hard to beat. Good honest food which doesn't sacrifice on flavour - you could easily enjoy a meal here without even realising its vegan! Amazing service is the cherry on the top.

Warm, friendly and welcoming - Edit
Nick, the owner, greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, then saw us to a table that he carefully picked out as being further from the door than others so we wouldn’t get a draught. There were so many great sounding dishes on the menu we had trouble choosing but eventually settled on the Scandinavian casserole (beetroot, sausage and some other veggies), and the meatballs and mash. Both looked and tasted amazing and were the perfect hearty food for a cold winter evening. We finished off by sharing the super yummy apple strudel and ice cream.

Walked past here and just had to stop - I’ve never seen European vegan food before. Normally miss out because like the menu acknowledges it’s just meat meat meat.

Best vegan food and coffee in Melbourne! - Edit
This place is amazing, and food is of high quality. It's quickly becoming a favourite among my family and friends. The serves are generous and filling, exceptional value for money and made with love (I just feel It!!). Staff are gorgeous, warm and so charismatic and it's so cosy. Such an extensive selection of meals and desserts, and the vegan (and choice of organic) coffee, wow, It's the best in Melbourne. Getting more and more popular by the day, and I can see why. I love too, the fact that these guys REALLY and genuinely support animal welfare. I heard the owner was formerly with Animal Justice Party and Animals Australia, but stepped down due to his new venture, however he continues to be incredibly supportive of all the local animal charities and welfare organisations. That is pure gold. A restaurant created from the heart - not to opportunistically cash in on the increasingly profitable vegan market. !00% Respect.

The previous 6 reviews (prior to this one) give this venue five stars. Why would this review be singled out as "fake"? Out of 11 reviews so far this venue has received 8 five stars, 2 four stars, and 1 three star reviews. If we wanted to highlight one of these reviews as "fake" it would be difficult to highlight one of the 8 five star reviews (72% of reviews) and instead we might consider the only three star review (9% of reviews) written by verbosity and wonder if there is any ulterior motive behind not only giving this venue the only grade lower than four stars, but then also attacking one of the eight reviewers who gave it five stars. The reviewer ChrisH98 also gave Vegie Mum five stars (as have I), how does this correlate with the argument that ChrisH98 is giving fake reviews to enhance Euro Kitchen's reputation? I am only glad that your paranoia did not focus on ChrisH98's five star Vegie Mum review as I think that is one of the best venues in Melbourne whereas I haven't been to Euro Kitchen so I have no attachment to it either way.

mouth watering plates with european traditional dishes for very affordable prices! (mains and drinks for 2: $50). But the prices shouldn't be the only argument because the food tasted excellent (had the best vegan burger in Melbourne so far and a scrumptious serve of the köttbullar) and it comes in good portions!

Cute little place with different options - Edit
Totally different offerings than any of the other vegan restaurants in the area and pretty cheap the sweets are about $4 and mains $15-18 The menu was hard to choose from as I was eating alone and couldn’t share! I went for the meatballs which were delicious and full of flavour and great mash which is important! One note is they are only vegetarian not vegan even though the sign says vegan! A little confusing but hopefully they are planning on phasing the dairy out? Staff were lovely too

Delicious - Edit
This has just newly opened. Most of the menu is vegan with a few vegetarian items which are clearly marked. We were given menus and the menu was explained to us. I chose the bangers and mash and had an apple cider with mint (delicious) and a donut. The serving was a great size and I didn’t feel hungry afterwards but I didn’t feel uncomfortably full either. They were really lovely checking to see if we enjoyed our meals. I want to go back to try the Swedish meatballs. Loved they were playing Depeche Mode too!
