Ethos is not the average vegan restaurant. My husband is not vegan and enjoyed their chickun marsala. 👍👍

Delicious! Worth the drive from Orlando and the wait - Edit
Attending a conference in Orlando and looking for good vegan good. Ethos popped up in a search so I decided to drive over--about 20 minutes or so. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. Oh well, already here so may as well wait it out.
Read moreI'm so happy that I did! The food was excellent. I started with a cup of vegetable soup: loaded with green beans, carrots, potatoes, squash and other delicious goodness. Then I had the lasagna: large piece, thick, gooey with vegan cheese, some zuchinni buried in it, covered with delicious tomato sauce and served with 2 pieces of garlic bread. Yummmm! I decided to stock up on some food for the conference since it would be difficult to drive back and forth for all of my meals. Ordered a calzone with mushrooms, spinach and broccoli and a "hippie wrap" to go. Hippie wrap had sprouts, hummus, tomato, banana peppers on a spinach wrap, served with tortilla chips and salsa. Both went into the fridge in hotel room and were consumed over two days. Every morsel was delicious.
Also got some cookies (peanut butter and an oatmeal) to go, and for the drive back to Orlando ordered a strawberry shake. The shake was o.k.: not great but everything else was very, very good and I would highly recommend.
The world needs more restaurants like this. Comfortable seating, nice atmosphere, good options on the menu, great, friendly service (Thanks Lauren!). Will look forward to a future visit!
Pros: Great menu with diverse options--all plant-based, Large portion sizes, great value for money spent , Nice atmosphere
Cons: So popular that there a wait to get in

Traditional restaurant with vegan pizzazz - Edit
Really cute restaurant with a traditional atmosphere.
Read moreMy biggest gripe is the lack of gluten free options. It has to be created from other options instead of it being an option on the menu inherently.
The garlic knots and calzone were insane (husband loved them). Pasta primavera, and blackened tempeh were also great!
Too ashamed to upload the to go photos I took because I had already blazed through part of the meal, lol.
Pros: Great atmosphere, Milkshakes are BOMB
Cons: Gluten free options are dismal

This place is AMAZING!! - Edit
The food was good, the place was nicely decorated, and it was quick service. They had lots of options. Right outside they had free hand outs like PETA’s Vegan Starter Kit. There was even a small bakery inside.... they make AMAZING cookies, we buy a ton every time we’re here!!

Delicious Sunday Brunch - Edit
The service was excellent. When I got here, I was told it would be a 30 minute wait but it was maybe 15 minutes. My server m, Hanna, was awesome. She recommended the skillet which I really enjoy. My only criticism would be that it has a little too much oil. Reasonably priced.

Horrible to employees - Edit
I worked here for a month and it was absolutely horrible, they’re incredibly rude to their employees. I met someone the other day who worked here a few years ago that got fired for posting “please tip your servers” on Facebook. Clear that they don’t value the privacy and opinions of their staff. Made a friend after I worked there who walked out on her first day as a host because they wouldn’t let her use the bathroom. Hope this company actually looks internally on how to treat and support their staff better to actually become a good business. Maybe they wouldn’t have such a high turnover rate.

Many options, great taste! - Edit
We ate at Ethos Vegan Kitchen during a recent visit to the area. The menu selection was great and everything was delicious. I had the daily special, Cuban sandwich, and hubby had the Jerk Chickun sandwich and both were amazing. We even splurged and got the sundae for dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant for both vegans and non-vegans.

We keep going back! - Edit
We have been eating at Ethos for about 4 years and little have changed in terms of quality. The menu has been reduced because of COVID and I really miss the Rueben sandwich but you can find plenty to satisfy your vegan eating regardless. Even if you aren’t vegan you will find something delicious. We still takeaway because we aren’t ready to eat inside a restaurant but that is no problem. They give you everything you need. The vegan milkshake is over the top, the calzone can feed two people easily. It is delicious. The vegan cookies are a real treat. My only negative is that several times they have forgotten to give us what comes with the dish or something that we have ordered. They are busy so you have to double check that you have all your sauces, and your cookies. But that doesn’t stop us from eating there consistently.

Some things were great, mac and cheese not so much. - Edit
We got the healthy trio to start, it does not come with many veggies for the hummus which was a disappointment, but overall was good. I got the lasagna which was great, but my sister got the Mac and cheese and peas, and it was horrible. It was grainy, and had a bad aftertaste. Neither of us could eat more than one bite of it. When we brought it up to our waitress, she did not seem concerned at all that the food was inedible. The staff was kind, and wait for the table ended up being shorter than we were originally estimated.

My normal go to for takeout - Edit
Ever since I first went to this place has it been one of my favorites. The menu stays mostly consistent with some minor changes one in a while. The interior reminds me of something I would see in on the west coast. Relaxed and filled with art. There is also a newsletter thru their site, that provides updates and special days they have to support rescues and other charities. Again I can not say enough good things about Ethos.

Winterhaven Orlando All Vegan - Edit
Delicious all Vegan. Sundae was a treat. Calories not listed on menu. I emailed before we went, my email was politely answered but they stated they are unable to provide calorie information. This limited my choices. I had spinach salad. Ginger dressing very good. My husband had lasagna very good. My daughter had calzone very good & large. She also had macaroni and peas, not good - I tasted it. We had sundaes. Sundaes delicious. Restaurant understaffed. Bakery closed due to Covid. A great vegan place over all. We drove 2 hours each way to experience this place. Very nice.

My favorite item on the menu is the chkn bruschetta sandwich. I always order cookies for dessert. My non-veg father thought the pizza was delicious. Their mashed potatoes and gravy are weird and I don't like them, though.

My first visit was a surprise experience. I did know how wonderful it would be. My second visit was in the pandemic. Social distancing in effect, great. Food still great. My carnivorous husband even enjoyed his self. Must visit every time I’m in town.
