Great selection of Ethiopian food - Edit
I always enjoy places where you can get a plate with samples of everything on it. For £9 here you can get a classic plate which comes with all the different delicious vegan Ethiopian foods at this little stall.

Average Ethiopian - Edit
Kind stall attendants/servers
Read moreThe food is average at best for Ethiopian, I have eaten Ethiopian food all over the world and had great experiences everywhere.
This was the first time I have seen cous cous mixed into the dishes which causes a “fusion” aspect I didn’t appreciate.
The injera servings were criminally small, definitely not enough to eat the plate in the traditional manner (scoping with the bread.)
All in all we wanted to love it, hunted it down due to the glowing reviews and were disappointed.
Save your appetite and solve your sweet tooth at the doughnut tent called “Galeta” in the same market that serves vegan donuts to die for!
(For far superior Ethiopan at much better prices visit Lalibela Ethiopian Restaurant in Camden/Kentish town.)
Pros: Kind people
Cons: Flavors are bland for the cuisine , Portions are small for 9 pounds, Location has no seating when busy

Not bad - Edit
A very high bar has been set for vegan Ethiopian food in London (Beza Ethiopian, Merkamo, Addi’s…) and honestly this place didn’t quite meet it. The portions were fairly small, and the dahls a little watery. You also get at least 50% of the meal as salad.
Read moreHaving said all that, it’s not bad and it’s great to see more vegan Ethiopian stalls across the city.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Expensive , Small portion , Half salads

Happy Cow? Happy US! - Edit
Prior to a London visit to the South Bank with friends on 4/3/23 i searched Happy Cow for lunch options. Informal, outdoor, interesting vegan food while we took a pause in our walk along the SouthBank, Ethiopique did NOT disappoint! A tray dish of a variety of dishes with fresh interesting flavours, and amazing optional hot sauces really hit the spot.. Really glad i followed through and tracked this happy, vibrant street food stall down .. it was a perfect late lunch option to power us through the afternoon.. Thank you!
Read morePros: Fresh and delicious, Available at once, A different cuisine than those commonly offered
Cons: Bit tricky to locate on the Happy Cow app map, Tucked away tho was in a cluster of food outlets

Yummy Ethiopian Food - Edit
I popped by here after a long day at a conference, and this absolutely made my evening! Each individual dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. So much love and care was put into every bean and grain of rice. Ethiopian food is one of my favourite cuisines, and this might be the best I've had recently. I went just before they closed, and there was still food available. It was packed up carefully for my journey home. Thank you!

Too Good To Go: Filling Food and Good Value - Edit
While browsing through Too Good To Go I saw Ethiopiques had a mystery box available which I decided to order for £5.
Read moreThe vendor is located in a popular market near the Waterloo bridge. When you walk up to the booth you can see a variety of dishes ready to be plated. The box came with a variety of dishes— I really enjoyed the salad but the chickpea dish and bean dish were not to my taste.
Overall Ethiopiques is a good value and I would return again.
Pros: Vegan, Good Value, Friendly Staff

Simply amazing - Edit
An all-vegan food stall located at the Southbank Food Market. Don't be fooled into thinking the food is simplistic. The flavours are AMAZING and the portions very filling. They have a dedicated following of people who work on the Southbank. Staff are chatty, very friendly and charmingly fend off any silly comments from passing carnivore punters.

Five Star Taste Sensation - Edit
All thanks to my lovely Cousin Joy from Pewsey in Wiltshire for leading me to this superb Ethiopian Vegan street food situated within the Southbank Food Market which is also worth exploring.
Read moreI found Ethiopiques, paying just £3 for a selection normally setting you back £8 - I opted for 6-8pm pick up, although I did not get a heads up on the exact collection time, I headed over around 7.30pm, the guy took hold of my plastic container ( tip: take a large size! ) and proceeded to generously fill with a terrific array of mouth watering dishes, cooked to perfection by a very friendly crew.
Had the selection at around 5am after a night out clubbing, decided not to reheat and my taste buds were on fire. In my 60 years this was my first taste of Ethiopia and for sure it wont be my last. So FIVE Stars to Ethiopiques. Edit by staff - see ToS.

I always get the special witch has a little bit of everything on it. The food here is so good and you get a good portion for the price. Strangers always come up to me say they wish the went to Ethiopiques instead of whatever stall they went to. It must really show that I love their food 😂.
