Vegetarian but not very vegan friendly - Edit
I really liked that the bubbled water they served was from their own soda streamer.
Read moreThey only had one vegan option for me, which was good but it's nice to have more options, especially since it's a vegetarian restaurant.
They also forgot part of our order (my beer, that stuff is important)
Pros: Good location, Use filtered tap water for still and bubble water
Cons: Lack of vegan options, Not the best service

Terrible staff and limited vegan options - Edit
The person that served us was perhaps among the rudest waitpersons I have ever seen. Eyerolling, snapping, then not bringing the order until you remind them to do so.. and all this in a place that is supposed to be a fancy one, which is usually overbooked. The second waitperson was much better, but didn't really improve the overall impression - we just had to approach someone else because our waitperson at some point just decided to ignore us and from time to time throw shade.
Read moreOn top of that, there is really just a couple of vegan dishes (pretty good curry though - gotta give credit where credit is due). Maybe some of the vegetarian ones can be made vegan, but it takes a waitperson with basic communication skills and decency to explain that to you. We weren't that lucky.
Pros: central location, good ambience, tastes good
Cons: staff from hell, limited vegan options, kind of pricy

perfect location, nice food - Edit
We ate the vegetarian Risotto and the vegan curry as maindish and the mushroom paté as starter. Everything was very delicious and the staff was really nice. We will come back!

perfect lunch - Edit
Just had a great lunch in a very nice atmosphere. You will find this restaurant hidden away from the busy hustle of the Prague touristic inner city. The burger was one of the best I had in a while. Prices are very reasonable.

Delicious food, needs more vegan options - Edit
Loved the cozy atmosphere of this spot. The panang curry is the only real vegan option on the menu but it's quite tasty.

More vegan options - Edit
Only clearly vegan option on the menu from mains is Pennang curry (it is really good, not too spicy) Some other dishes can be made vegan, but it will be great to listed it on menu. Weitress was very nice, we got apetizer for free, but it was just vegetarian not vegan. Mimosa with mango sorbet was also great.

Really good food – a vegetarian place but with vegan options and some dishes are amendable – and lovely staff.

Not for Vegans - Edit
They had extremely limited vegan options, essentially 2 appetizers (of which 1 was a plate of olives), occasionally a soup (depends on the soup of the day), and 1 main. Everything else feature cheese or eggs as an intrinsic component, so not able to convert to vegan. It felt very much like looking for a vegan dish in an omnivore restaurant.

Needs more vegan options - Edit
I was hoping that a vegetarian restaurant would have more choice for vegans but the only main I could have was the salad. I'm not a big salad fan so I was a little disappointed at first but it was actually really creative and delicious, lots of quinoa, avocado and other veg, not the sad salad leaves I was imagining. It would have been nice to have had more choice though.

I loved Estralla whilst in Prague. Was literally 100m from our accommodation. I had the curry and loved it. My non vegan friends had the burger and loved it too! Will be back before we leave!

Very friendly - Edit
Very happy to find this place around the corner from our accommodation. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Not a huge vegan range, but my curry was tasty, and an excellent coconut panna cotta for dessert! Note: the menu said they didn't take cards, but they did (so we were able to order more food and cocktails!)

A must for special occasions! - Edit
My cousins and I spent a very enjoyable evening here. The food was absolutely delicious - all of us ended up having the burger which was one of the best I've ever tried. We were also offered small complementary appetizers that were very tasty. The wine list was better than average and they had quality beers from local breweries. Estrella is not the cheapest restaurant you'll find in Prague, but the experience is worth every koruna in my opinion. Make sure to make a reservation however - it's a popular place and they don't have too many tables. The interior is minimalist but cosy, the service was friendly and the location is excellent.

Incredible - Edit
This is a super cozy, friendly and hidden restaurant in central Prague in which I had dinner with my family. It's small so booking a table in advance is definitely suggested, but it's well worth it since it serves delicious food with funny and friendly staff, and a very homey interior. All the food we had (6 dishes in total) plus drinks were delicious!! Even those who usually eat meat will be satisfied with their yummy burger or Thai curry!

Not much vegan dishes to choose from - Edit
We came to Estrella especially because it is not so centrally located and were very disappointed. There weren't a lot of vegan dishes to choose from and the ones who were vegan were dishes like curry which you can usually find in Asian restaurants. There was only one vegan dessert (malabi). The waiter was rude and it felt really crowded there.

Decent - Edit
I arrived without a reservation, and so I was told to settle for a spot in the bar. I was feeling quite allergic (pollen), so I'm not sure if my choice of main course, some thai soup, was the best one, because I was sweating profusely by the time I was done with it. I must admit it was a very good dish though.
Read moreMy spot in the bar allowed me some insight into their kitchen, where I noticed staff didn't cover their hair, which I believe is standard for hygienic reasons, and that one of the cooks was sporting an apron with the logo of the most popular junk-food death corporation there is! It didn't affect the quality of the food, but it sure felt ironic and weird.
More disadvantages include that they only accept cash (which is not mentioned in their menu) and that their pannacotta was labeled as vegan, but if you still insist that you want it vegan then they will serve it without some sort of non-vegan pastry that apparently accompanies their original version.

Very helpful staff and lovely but small dining area. Although the menu was mainly vegetarian, there were a few vegan and raw options. The quality of the dishes was exceptional. I would highly recommend!
