Authentic Thai & Wildlife - Edit
After moving to Estes Park, I’ve eaten here almost every week. Friendly staff, great Thai food (given the location), and even a chance to see elk hanging out. Almost everything can be made vegan.

Great Thai food - Edit
Great place for Thai food! Substitutions easily made. We got the pad Thai and asked for no egg—they were very happy to accommodate.

Great experience. - Edit
Estes Thai lists many vegan dishes and the server seemed to understand what vegan meant without any issues.
Read moreWe had the egg rolls (no actual egg involved) and they were very good. They arrived hot, the outside was crispy, the vegetables and thin noodles tasted great, and the sweet-and-sour dipping sauce was very good.
My kid ordered the Phad Thai and specified no egg. The dish was beautiful. The flavors were good, though it was not the best either of us have tried. The tofu was very well cooked, though.
I had the panang curry with tofu. The sauce was delicious and tofu was perfect. The only vegetables were two raw pepper slices (one red, one green) and the dish could benefit from a few other vegetables.
The restaurant got very busy after we were seated and the staff seemed a little disorganized.
In all, the food was beautiful and very good. There are many vegan options listed on the menu and it is worth a stop.

Regrettable - Edit
I ordered fried rice and noodles. Asked for vegan but got eggs in it. They graciously remade it without eggs. So you need to explain what vegan means or ask for vegetarian with no eggs.
Read moreBut on top of that, I wonder if it really is vegetarian. Do they know oysters aren't vegetarian? Do they care enough to check the ingredients? My experience suggests it is doubtful. On top of that, they forgot about my order for 30 minutes and made it once I asked how things were going.
The food was really bland but it had unique mushrooms and the tofu was good. Went in with great hope, left feeling discouraged. Estes Park now has few vegan options.
