THE VERY BEST VEGAN MEATS!! - Edit
Omgggggg just amazing food all together. Fantastic atmosphere with a vintage game room in the back. Full bar, draft and craft beers. The menu is the same front and back, except one side is for meat eaters and the other for vegans. Just an amazing beautiful concept. They have my heart.

Vegan owner - Edit
Started eating here as an omnivore. When I made the switch, they made it much easier for me. They have option for option herbivore to omnivore so more people can come as groups and all leaving full.

Very pleased - Edit
I had the “wings” and “French dip”. Everything was very flavorful and really made for a nice, appealing and filling lunch. The wing texture wasn’t quite like chicken completely but I am not well versed in vegan meat substitutes. I kind of wish it were fried cauliflower instead but was still tasty. The French dip was a treat. Lots of “Meat” loaded into a nice bread loaf and the fries are really good.

Great vegan sandwiches from Ester's SOMA - Edit
There are very few vegan options in Little Rock that I could find, but Ester's has a whole vegan menu. I purchased the Chick'n Parm and my husband got the South Broadway sandwich- both were really yummy! Nice to have seitan (rather than tofu) on the Parm to mix it up a bit. Ester's was great for us after a couple really bad vegan meals in Little Rock.

Small Indie Feel to It - Edit
I love that at this locally owned restaurant I can bring an omnivore friend or family member and enjoy the same number of vegan options as they have omnivore options on the back of the same menu. This is my number one choice in the two cities for dinner or lunch out alone or with a friend, and I've been back many times. So far my favorite menu items are the Appaloosa burger and Dej au' Jus, although the seitan "chik'n" sandwich is also really good. Their vegan ranch dressing is so creamy and loaded with fresh dill that one vegan friend of mine put it aside thinking it was dairy. The owners are very kind, friendly people who take time to acknowledge regulars.

Wow!! Really delicious! - Edit
Passed through Little Rock. Really convenient location to hop off the freeway and back on. Had the Chikn Sammy and Au Jus hoagie with hush puppies and everything was delicious!! Haven’t had a really good Au jus sandwich since going vegan. Not overly salted, not greasy. Most items are veganized and a small selection of vegan grocery items. Really nice owners.

Indulgent and filling - Edit
Heavy on the seitan and bread, but delicious for a splurge. Not for everyday. Nugz were spongy. Vegan French Dip sandwich was really good. Bread was fresh.

2nd Visit, lost customer - Edit
I enjoyed my vegan food but my husband ordered wings this time too and they were undercook both times, even after after we asked for them to cook them crispy. He will bring his food next time. My favorite menu item is the Dej Aus Jus. It’s like a roast beef sandwich with dipping sauce. Yummy 😁

Love this place! - Edit
I went with a big group of omnivores, vegetarians, and me a vegan and we all loved it. The menu is omnivore on one side and vegan on the other, but it's the same dishes for both, just with substitutions. You order everything at the bar, which can take a while, especially if you're with several people. We ordered a large selection of things on the menu and there wasn't one we had that was bad. Chill atmosphere, great price, would recommend if you are in Little Rock

Unique vegan food and great prices - Edit
I’m not sure who said this was pricey but this was the best value vegan food I’ve had. I’m used to eating in NY and California so maybe that’s why it seemed so cheap to me but I was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good and they had some unique options.

Tricky place to find - Edit
I walked past it a couple times until I decided to ask someone. The name on the window is called “Core brewing Co.” but their kitchen is called Esters. The waitress is super nice and helpful. The Buffalo nugs are really good as well as “The Land Yacht” which is a frito chili pie burrito.

Solid vegan options - Edit
They have a handful of clearly labeled vegan options. The nugz (fried seitan wings) were tasty and the homemade dill sauce was pretty killer. The owner was super friendly and inquired about how my meal was. The Core Brewing has a bunch of good beers too ($3 core pints for happy hour during the week). The ambiance is of a laid back brewery.

Cons: Slightly expensive for the portion size
