Sweet place - Edit
As soon as I said that I was vegan, they immediately brought me hummus, falafel and asked if it was delicious. Very nice people. I was full while I was trying everything, but I had to order.

No go for vegans - Edit
I wouldn't recommend this Syrian restaurant to vegans. The owner told us he understood that we (as a vegan) don't eat animal products and made a variety of dishes. The dishes were definitely not vegan, there was yoghurt and cheese in some of these dishes. We didn't complain (language barrier) and just paid.

Cons: Animal products in vegan dishes, Arabian menu in Türkiye (even with Syrian prices), Not tasty

Perhaps the only (and best) option in Gaziantep - Edit
Fast food and delivery style restaurant with excellent options from Syrian cuisine to Vegs. Watch out for the fatth (fettah) - it takes yogurt! Definitely the best falafel I've ever had in my long life!!! 😋

5 stars - Edit
Well... Not many people speak English in Gaziantep, even in more exposed shops and restaurants in the city center so it might be challenging. Here in Ester staff spoke English really well. The food was really delicious. I was a bit artound the world and this place served me the top 5 falafel I have had in my life. Also really cheap. Would rate it 5 stars if I could. (BTW just one dish was with meat)

delicious & very good value for money - Edit
we had fantastic, very delicious food here. We had one falafel dürüm, hummus, ful, a falafel plate, a salad, raw vegetables and a Fanta and all this only cost 56 TL.

An oasis of healthy vegan food in the land of meat - Edit
We were so relieved to find Eşter Pide ve Falafel! We were hungry for Syrian food after weeks of struggling to feed ourselves in eastern Turkey, where streets are lined with kebab shops and the pide (Turkish item similar to thin crust pizza) is usually topped with meat.
Read moreEşter’s friendly staff laid out a feast for us: falafel (so good!), a big bowl of foul (fava beans) with generous lashings of tahina and good olive oil; a large mixed salad with delicious herbs; a plate of pickled veg and onions; and fresh bread. Everything was amazing and beautifully presented as well. The place seems to do a brisk pizza business as well. We’ll be back soon.
