Great place! - Edit

The restaurant offers a variety of different styles of food. The people include seasonal and regional fruit and vegetables in their dishes.

Have a look at their homepage to check the opening times especially around german holidays.

Home away from Home - Edit

Everybody knows how it feels to be away from home, as a vegan it is sometimes even worse. If your making a trip to a smaller town, it is nearly impossible to find something like this restaurant. It is mostly vegan, organic, staff is nice & friendly, food excellent & prices fair.
The two owners are vegan as well, you feel that in a lot of small details. We will come back.

Pros: Nice & friendly, a lot of possiblitys in food & beverage, the pastry

Cons: nothing, nothing, nothing

Wonderful time at Esskultur Bio Bistro - Edit

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at the bistro because we were served very delicious meals. My friend had the channa masala (chickpeas in a lightly spicy tomato sauce with rice, papadam and pineapple chuntney) and I had the Phuket plate (Tom Ka Soi, which is a spicy soup, 2 spring rolls, rice, pickled vegetables), which was absolutely amazing.
Although the restaurant is a bit small and has only one toilet, I would have loved to eat there again due to deliousness of the meals. It might be a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth it since only organic ingredients are used.

I also recommend to give the ice cream a try. The vegan hazelnut ice cream tasted out of this world. I would have never expected to eat such a delicious hazelnut ice cream as a vegan again.

Pros: extremely delicious, everything made with organic ingredients, creative menu

Cons: a bit pricey, small

Vegan at the sea - Edit

Fantastic vegan meal (only the samosas on the menue are vegetarian) with an ayurvedic touch.
Accommodating and sympathic service. We really enjoyed it.

Pros: indian/ayurvedic meals, cosy atmosphere, some unusual beverages

Cons: outside seating in busy street

Excellent vegan Café and Restaurant - Edit

We have visited this lovely little restaurant 3 times during our holidays, and we have chosen it for their organic, vegan drinks and food. While waiting for our orders we enjoyed reading some interesting vegan books and magazines. We like that the two women who run the restaurant personally seem to live and breath an organic and vegetarian/vegan-based lifestyle themselves.
You can see that they don't do their job only because of money but because it's their passion: at our first visit we had no cash, only cards, but they told us to pay our dessert later in the evening - definitely not an everyday experience!
That wassn't our last visit!

Pros: solely vegetarian, great vegan options, very friendly service, nice location in town, near to the lake

Excellent! - Edit

Very charming little restaurant with excellent food and two lovely hostesses. We spent some very pleasant hours there. The pricing is medium - not really cheap but in no way too expensive.

Pros: Good food, Reasonable pricing, Amazing energy

Really lovely meal - Edit

I had a great meal tonight at this restaurant. I started with a beautifully cooked channa masala, and was really pleased to discover that the chocolate mouse was vegan. It was dense and fudgey and came with some dark boozy cherries, delish. I had a ginger beer and a peppermint tea and the whole bill was 22 Euros, which I found pretty reasonable. Recommended.

Pros: lovely food, even the biscuit with the tea was vegan, chilled atmosphere

Cons: wold have been nice to have a few more vegan

Recommended! - Edit

Nice ambience, amiable service and really delicious organic food.Vegans should inform the stuff,if they want to be sure about getting even the sauce in soy-version.We were accompanied by a non-vegetarian and he,as well, was extraordinarily satisfied.Great place!
