Nature reserve cafe in the visitor centre with veganーfriendly options. Offers milk alternatives like oat & soya for coffee, fruit smoothies, plant-based butter for teacakes and toast, wrapped tarts and chocolate. Regularly has vegan Tiptree cakes and tray bakes, as well as vegan sandwiches and salads. Supports a wildlife conservation charity. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-17:00. Winter opening hours are 10am - 4pm, 4 November – 14 Feb. Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Good vegan options at lovely nature reserve

Fair amount of vegan options available at the cafe in this beautiful nature reserve - range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and toast can be made with vegan cheese, crisps, variety of sweet tarts, and some yummy Tiptree cakes the best being the Lotus Biscoff 😋

Drinks options are good too. Oat and soya milk available for lattes and spiced chai. Fruit smoothies and a vegan coconut milkshake.

There is also the Refill Cabin outside the centre every Monday!
