This is a beautifully interior-designed cafe that invites you to stay longer. Everything is on the pricier side but good quality and good portion sizes. We wish the crispy tofu had a bit more sauce on it

We went there for lunch and had the smoky tempeh and grilled pepper toast. Although the taste was awesome, the portions were a bit small for us. The food menu is also quite limited/cliché, but we can imagine it’s a nice place for coffee lovers.

Read moreWe had the banana bread and bulgur bowl. While leaving we also took the huge chocolate chip cookie. I was a bit disappointed that pancakes were no longer made aswell as some other breakfast options they used to have but the bulgur bowl, despite being a common dish used as a vegan option was surprisingly much much better than elsewhere.
Not 5 stars because of the lack of Dutch. I'm all for internationalisms especially in trendy university cities like Maastricht but only English businesses become too prevalent. I know the Dutch don't care about the demise of their language but as a Fleming I don't consider it normal that a basic level of Dutch is not considered necessary anymore in medium sized Dutch cities.

There’s plenty of seating in the back. A lot of students were working on laptops, so the atmosphere was quiet but not very lively. I had a matcha, which was good, and a lemon & lavender cake, nice flavor, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a calm spot to work or relax.

I have seen some people say that it's a bit overpriced and for most of the items I cannot agree with that. The drinks and the pastries seem the same price as other cafe's but I have to say that the toast definitely is a bit pricey for what you actually get 😅

I was looking for a cozy calm place to have some breakfast and Espresso Quartier fulfilled my expectations. Several sweet and savory options, nice assortment of coffee and attentive service. There is also a nice area to sit where they're also laptop friendly, if you prefer to work instead of relaxing.

This is a terrific option if you're in Maastricht. As well as having a fully vegan menu, they've put some care into the dishes and the drinks. The smoky tempeh (BLT style) was tasty and the soda was very refreshing on a warm day.

The lemon lavender cake was good but the matcha cookie was tasteless and oily. No bueno. The coffee was good but more expensive here than in other places on our travels throughout the country. I opted for a small as it was the price of a regular elsewhere (a large was €6 or more)

Ik heb een heerlijk ontbijt met yoghurt, granola en fruit gehad. Ook de cappuccino met havermelk was top! Heerlijk romig. De sfeer is goed en er staat relaxte muziek op. Echt een aanrader!
