Vegan baked goods - Edit
They have at least one baked good in the display case and if you ask, it sounds like they usually have vegan banana bread in the back that they have to cut upon ordering. I didn’t get coffee but the muffin and hidden little atmosphere was great!

Favorite Coffee Shop in Town - Edit
Love the vibe of Espresso News, it's cozy and has nice seating areas inside and out. They have non-dairy milks for coffee drinks, and also vegan baked goods (which I haven't tried yet, but it's nice to know there's that option). They have chess boards as well, which I appreciate. Only downside is that sometimes it's hard to find parking nearby since it's in the heart of downtown, but you can always park up in the lot on Queen Street.

We had poppy seed muffins which were good and fresh. There were no other vegan options for baked goods. This university mountain town is really cute but congested so park where you can and enjoy a little walk!

Great environment and awesome vegan options! - Edit
Love this place! Their vegan baked goods are off the charts, they have soy milk (and almond milk, I think), and they offer a daily soup that is normally vegan (always vegetarian). You will not be disappointed if you stop in at Espresso News! :)

Best vegan bakery options in Boone! - Edit
Not only do they have soy milk for the coffee every time I go in there they also have a great assortment of vegan muffins and other goodies! They also serve lunch and almost always have a vegan option as in soups and sandwiches. This is a great place and I enjoy it every time I'm there!

This place definitely has the best coffee in all of Boone. Though the talented baristas could use a bit of an attitude change, the coffee is unparalleled in the area. A cute building tucked away in a nice part of Boone near campus. Delicious vegan baked goods too!
