Sad to see its closed

I've been eating here for years when i spend my 30+ days a year in Spain... not sure what happened but sudden closure. Owner doesn't have plan at moment but hopefully there will be a new version run by the team again. Good luck x

Pros: Food, Ambience , Value

Cons: Closed sadly

SPETTACOLARE!!!!

Pros: Tutto

Cons: Niente

I love it

It's definitely the best restaurant in Torremolinos for me. The cook and waitress is very nice, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, and the food is just great. Every time I can, I have lunch there or order take away. There is a good variety of delicious dishes.

Pros: Healthy, Cheap, Nice

Buen servicio

Servicio muy bueno. Fuimos 4 a comer y la camarera se acomodó a cada uno con sus necesidades. Comimos bastante bien. Faltan postres veganos.

Pros: Opciones veganas , No es caro

Cons: Mucho calor dentro

Good vegetarian restaurant

Visited during my stay in torremolinos. Woman working there did not speak any English and my Spanish is questionable so wasn't quite sure what i was gonna have but I ended up having a nice four course vegan meal. A plain salad, quinoa and veg/soup, veggie burgers and potatoes and fruit for dessert. Good prices. Would recommend for healthy light veggie meal.

Pros: Cheap , Healthy veggie food , Nice staff

Lovely food, friendly staff

Only in Spain for a week but have been here 4 times. The menu changes daily and everything has been fabulous.

Pros: Nice ambiance, very clean, fairly priced., Very tasty, nicely cooked food., Food nicely presented.

Cons: Not wholly vegan - a little milk used, Difficult to find (up an alley, through a bar)

Local taste

Three or four course menu of the day, you can choose from 2-4 options for every course. Portions are not so big but there are more of them so you won’t leave hungry :) I had problem to finish the three course variant (with wattermelon as desert). Menu is only in spanish but the nice waitress was helpful with explaining us which is vegan even though she cannot speak english.

Pros: Many options every day, Nice staff, Price

Cons: Opening hours

So so

Tasty and cheap

We had the four course menu, a real bargain at 10€. The millet balls were our favourite! We were really happy to have chosen the four courses since it was barely filling; three courses would have left us hungry. Knowing a little Spanish was very good since the start didn't speak much English. Nice place with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Great Find Thanks to Happy Cow

Not sure what was on the menu as we arrived just as they opened at 12:30 and the waitress hadn't written the menu out. We could have worked Spanish out in written form but are no good orally. Consequently, we just said uno vegeteriano y uno vegano and the waitress brought 4 courses of each off the menu dias which we enjoyed. Salad, soup/bread, vegan main of fried potato/garlic, seitan and oyster mushrooms and vegetarian dish of quinoa stacks with a delicious sauce. Baked apple for vegan dessert and a creamy tart for vegetarian. 24 euros including a freshly made vegetable juice and large water.
To find it go up the steps off Calle Loma del Riscos. Well worth it

Convenient and tasty

This restaurant is located in a pedestrian street which will be easier to find if you get to it from calle Loma de los Riscos rather than Avenida Joan Miró. They have a really good and inexpensive 4-course menu on working days and Saturdays, less than 10,00€, however drinks are not included. Luckily enough for me, one choice (and only one) out of every course was vegan. The dishes were excellent anyway, really tasty and nicely served, plus it's just a few minutes in walking distance of central Torremolinos.

Update: I've been a couple of times more since I posted my review and in these two occasions there were much more vegan options in the menu.

Pros: excellent food, location, inexpensive

Cons: just one vegan choice per course, only opens for lunch

Oasis!

A wonderful place! Delicious, satisfying 4 course meals for less than 10 euros; 3 course less than 8 - a great deal for the quantity and quality. I've been going here on my occasional trips to the area for over 15 years, and this time the quality is even better than ever.

They are near-vegan, and definitely vegan friendly. You should always double check, but they told me that they use no eggs and no cheese. They do use milk.

Practical but expensive for what it is

The place is nice (even if not easy to find - the restaurant is in a pedestrian street between Avenida Joan Miro and Calle Loma de los Riscos). The terrace is very pleasant. The dishes are very well presented and vegetables are well cooked. However, the portions are small for the price paid. I tried the grilled seitan which was not very tasty (avoid it). Finally, it lacks some vegan choices to be really satisfying.

Pros: friendly staff, tasty vegetables

Cons: small portions, few vegan options (not well indicated), only Spanish menu

hard to find, nice place, but oily 3 courses

We literally drove around for 30 mins and finally noticed it at the end of a side mall area. Basically when you get to the address look towards the water, south I'm guessing and there is a line of shops not facing the street, but kind of 90 degrees making them hard to spot. We split the menu of the day, because that's all you can order. We tried our best to get it sin aciete, but no luck. We only ate lettuce :( Its a nice place, though.

Cons: hard to find, oily

Update April 08

The restaurant has been totally refurbished and is great. The food continues to be unbelievable. I go with a friend and we always order 1 of each item for the first 3 courses if we can then share. Sometimes there are 3 choices and this is a real dilema! One time we were there and noticed someone had come in for a 'take away'. We asked Christina, the waitress about it and she said it was certainly possible. The restaurant is not close but we tried it. We phoned for the menu del dia and ordered. All was ready to collect and it had been packed with the same attention to presentation as if we were dining at the restaurant. It tasted.... well I hope you find out just how good......... It is another option to try. We have even thought of splitting the courses between lunch and dinner one time soon. It opens now on Friday evenings and Saturday too. Around 8 I think.

Pros: always a new idea, taste/presentation, the chef's a genious!

Cons: Sadly it's 1600km from my home!
