Worst Experience Ever - Edit

1. This restaurant is not even vegetarian. They have blood sausage, pork, chicken and fish on the menu. This is extremely misleading considering the only reason I chose the place was for it's supposed vegan-friendliness. It is appalling that their information is an outright lie.

2. They are NOT vegan-friendly. I asked which items were vegan and the waitress just said 'Nothing.'

3. I asked if the tempura sushi had egg in it. The waitress confirmed that it did, so I ordered veggie sushi without tempura. She then brought me the tempura fried sushi anyway. I sent it back, only to have the waitress bring the same plate back two minutes later, slam it on the table and declare that there was no egg in it.

4. We waited 45 minutes for them to bring us the bill after we had specifically asked for it.

Overall, absolutely awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone (vegan, vegetarian or otherwise).

I am giving it two cows because I can't give it any less but it deserves zero cows.

Small wonders in the open air! - Edit

I had read about this place on this website, so walked down to have a peak at their menu. The inside is tiny (with a gallery upstairs), but they had put a dozen or so candlelit tables on the square across the street. We started with "hummus", which was not hummus as we know it, but was absolutely delicious. Then salad with falafel, ravioli with courgettes, parmesan and sun-dried tomatoes (rich, but delicious) and my husband had a veggie burger, which he wolfed down with relish. The wine was a little pricey in comparison to other places in Spain, but the food made up for this. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this lovely little place.

Pros: Excellent, delicious food, Quirky, Helpful staff

Cons: Wine list a little pricey

Great food, great ambiance - Edit

We were here during Las Fallas 2010.

Fantastic food in this wonderful little local-filled restaurant. Great location. The gallery upstairs was interesting and strange. Had the best olives here that I've ever had.

Would return in a heartbeat.

Pros: Amazing olives, Great ambiance, Great location

Our best meal in Valencia - Edit

The restaurant is small but very comfortable, and staff is really nice. Food is fresh from the central market and dishes are elaborated and delicious. You can ask a dish or the menu, which includes first and second dish and dessert, for 18 euros. I recommend sushi in tempura, it was amazing! We tried two more restaurants in Valencia (Kimpira and The Nature) and this one was our favourite.
