It’s a run down market that will make you feel like you went back in time. Check expiration dates carefully! That said, there’s a whole case of vegan cheese at great prices. Many hard to find brands. Got a bunch of Ithaca hummus for about $1.50 each. Abbots butcher vegan products for cheap. Coffee is an amazing deal here. Many nondairy milks and ice creams. Good natural body care products. It’s like a scavenger hunt.
I have been out of the state for a little over a year now, but I can't imagine Eshs has changed much since.
Anyway I used to come here fairly regularly for years. It's a salvage store so 1. you're helping with food waste and 2. IT'S CHEAP. Stuff I wouldn't typically buy due to packaging I don't tend to have an issue here since it's not directly supporting the companies... which is obviously good and bad.
Just Egg for $.50, huge blocks (slabs?) of tofu for a dollar. MIYOKOS FOR $2. One time I went and got a lot of Tony's bars for less than a dollar each. Want ice cream? Cool, also only like $1. I've seen a lot of vegan stuff here that I've never even seen before!

Found a lot of hidden Gems here especially in freezer - Edit
For example Kite Hill and Mykoyos that’s not expired and well under store price and even Beyond Meat/Impossible products for under $2

Produce usually needs to be prepped immediately.
