Really nice food for a good price - Edit

Very friendly place, staff is very kind and give you a very warm welcome. Food is really well cooked and the ingredients are very fresh. Normally they have 3 different dishes but they give you the possibility of having a little bit of each. Will visit again!

Nice food with lovely people - Edit

I was just goingo to the airport, but I had to have lunch, therefore looking on Happycow I found this place and I discovered it is an oasis of calm, peace, lovely people.
Food choice is limited but only because they use fresh raw materials each day.
You can choose among 2 dish sizes to which add all the selection you may want: 2-3-4- or even all the options.
They also have desserts.
Tea is free.
Price is very affordable.
I will be there again in case I will be around Lisbon airport.

Pros: good food, low price

Cons: only tea to drink (water? I didn't ask but...)

After reading reviews on Escolha Natura I knew I had to experience the food (and get everything on a large plate). Amazing good, great service and such an affordable price!

Pros: cheap, all vegan , great staff

Cons: not open evenings, there was a fly that kept lurking around!

Best vegan food in Lisbon - Edit

I have known Escolha Natura since it was located at a different place (it also had a different name then). It's a shame I'm only reviewing it now!

The reviewer IsabelLopesdeSousa explained beautifully below why Escolha Natura is so special. This is one of the very few places in Lisbon where I can eat a completely healthy, tasty, and lovingly prepared vegan meal.

The dishes are different each day and the owner gets creative in the recipes. So each day you eat at Escolha Natura you're bound to have a tasty surprise! I almost always ask for the plate that includes a bit from all the different dishes.

The quantities are just right for me, and I always have a smile on my face when I sit at the table and stare at my plate! :) The price is very fair attending to the quality of the food and the good portions.

My only complaint about Escolha Natura is that it doesn't open on weekends nor during the evening - which means that I can only go there quite rarely when I'm on vacations or when I'm doing some business in the area during weekdays. But whenever there is such an opportunity, I do not hesitate to have lunch at Escolha Natura!

If you care deeply about what you eat, I suggest that you give Escolha Natura a try.

Pros: The food, Very friendly and welcoming staff, Good portions and fair price

Cons: Not open for dinners or on weekends :(

Great food, kind people - Edit

They always serve 3 options and you can mix them up a bit. Tea is for free and they can make fresh juices.
The food is really good! They are creative in their recipies, they don't serve the ususal stuff.
The people are really kind and always in a good mood.
It's one of the best vegan options in Lisbon.

My favourite vegan restaurant in Lisbon - Edit

This is by far my favourite vegan restaurant in Lisbon. When you look at it from the outside, doesn't look very interesting. But once you eat the food..everything changes. I'll explain why. The chef is a sweet woman who's been vegetarian since her mother's belly and she has cooked vegan food all her life. She cares about health, well being, the environment, but she also loves to play with different ingredients. It all starts with good quality ingredients. Everything is organic, which was a surprise for me since they're not using that word to sell their food (such a sexy word nowadays). Then, the respect for these ingredients. She looks at them as a way to nourish the body. Finally, the passion. She cooks all the food like she was at home cooking for herself. She puts all seasonings and mixes all these different ingredients in such a creative way, that you know she's having fun. When you sit and eat, you feel all of this in each bite. And yet, there you are in a small cozy restaurant with food served in a tray and free hot tea with zen music on the background. Just like she doesn't see how big this restaurant could be if it was located in a street with more movement, with better marketing, a trendy room and better presentation. I love it.

Pros: Organic, Homemade tasty vegan food, Healthy

Cons: -
