Divine!

Love this cute little restaurant - it looks more like a cafe from the outside so could be easy to miss if you didn’t know it was a fully vegan restaurant! I would go back there in a heartbeat!

Pros: Exquisite vegan food, Friendly staff, Good variety

My fav place in Brighton

What a pleasant experience! The place is lovely, the staff is nice and kind, very efficient too. And the food is simply amazing. The chef is an artist, really.
The food is made with fresh ingredients, and with love, for sure. We enjoyed it so much that we went here twice the same week.
I can only highly recommend this place, it is one of the greatest vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten at.
The wait can be a bit long, so it is better not to be in a hurry.

Pros: Brilliant food, Beautiful place, Lovely staff

Cons: The wait

I was expecting a little more

Smaller than I thought, I was expecting something a bit more grand than a cafe serving fine food. Good location though (taxi driver couldn’t find it as in pedestrian zone). We were on 1st floor, toilets in the basement (mind your head).
Food was good although not much to choose from, I had the celebration of cauliflower which was nice, but I wouldn’t order it again as I felt it was lacking something.

Pros: Friendly staff, Good location

Cons: Loo’s in the basement down stairs

Such a shame as was really looking forward to trying this restaurant

Booked this for my birthday treat as saw the rave reviews and wanted a weekend away in Brighton. I drove down from London in the bank holiday traffic all excited thinking about the banana blossom fysh dish.

The service was very slow, by the time we were able to order the only dishes I wanted were not available and what was left on offer was not appealing.

My dish of cauliflower was inedible as was weirdly burned but also undercooked, as was my husbands which he struggled to finish.

The waitress was nice so we were very British and left her a tip anyway as it was not her fault and she was very sweet.

It may just be we were unlucky on this occasion, it was so disappointing I’m ashamed to say I even cried a bit in the loo lol!!

Pros: Offer vegan cuisine, waitress was lovely

Cons: None of the dishes I wanted were available , Burned food yet undercooked

Main Dishes were exceptionally tasty

We ordered the jackfruit tortillas battered banana blossom ‘fish’ with smashed potatoes. These were both very GREAT.However, we felt the serving for ‘fish’ was too small compared to Tofish & chips which we had at a similar price in another resto.

Updated from previous review on 2021-05-21

Pros: All vegan, Tasty meals, Great service

Cons: Too Small serving for banana blossom ‘fish’, Dessert (Tiramisu) was not the best - a bit dry, The table we were in was a bit cold with drafts

great for date night - 3 courses vibe

I've been twice and both times the menu was so up my alley I ordered 3 courses. There's outside and inside space, both are great. Inside ambiance is really cool, but maybe a little too pretentious for my girlfriend and I. The staff are really lovely, the food well-thought-out. The chocolate raspberry dessert is the standout dish. Also great non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. They state on their website they are plastic-free, which I really support. I definitely recommend for a nice night out! Oh and their crockery is exquisite - Scandi vibes

Pros: All vegan, Chocolate raspberry dessert, Plastic-free, nice crockery

Cons: Sit outside if you prefer the chill vibe

Coffee & a dessert

Asked if we could come in just for a coffee. They said yes, but I was swayed by the pistachio tiramisu anyway! Delicious. Very friendly staff, loved the ambience of the place. If I had time, would absolutely come back for a full meal.

Potentially my favourite restaurant in the UK...

Absolutely loved everything about this place - the food and service were both incredible.

We ate starters, mains and dessert and all were absolutely incredible. Brighton is great for vegan food, but Erpingham House is just on another level and not even much more expensive than anywhere else, despite the food being on another level

Pros: Incredible food , Fantastic Service

Coffee and cake

Cute little place, really love the decor. Only had a coffee and cake outside, cake was a special that day, white chocolate and coconut, was devine!! Plus they were still doing 50% off food which was a massive bonus as would’ve been quite pricey otherwise.

food was excellent

interesting and original menu, fresh and tasty food, lovely desserts. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Very enjoyable lunch, would definitely go back. I wasn't quite as unlucky as the previous reviewer, they still had one kind of white wine left, no rose...I hope they can get this sorted out

Pros: excellent food, not too pricey for the quality of the food

Cons: very limited wine selection

Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, fairly bland food

We tried this restaurant after a friend recommended the establishment. The staff were welcoming and service was good. Surroundings were pleasant. Food looked good but was not inspiring or very tasty. Not in the same league as places like Offbeet in Hampshire near Totton.

Pros: The staff were friendly, Surroundings were pleasant

Cons: Food was not that tasty, Price did not reflect flavour
