Tasty

Everything vegan is clearly labelled and nice.

Service is done in the order they were paid for so you could be waiting ages if you just want chips.

Cons: Long wait for chips and gravy

Good snack

We got chips, gravy and cheese, potato cake and deep fried kiwi fruit.

Potato cake wasn't the best I've had, it was fine. Chips, gravy and cheese was pretty good though and was greatful they offered a vegan version. Didn't like the battered kiwi but might just because I didn't like that it was a hot kiwi fruit.

Fat greasy comfort

Great Vegan options has Vegan cheese and vegan gravy had the cauliflower cheese and gravy with Eric’s chips and a spiral potato. The spiral they burnt but gave me a refund for that so that’s okay.

Great

Really great that it‘s a fish and chips shop and all the vegan options are clearly labeled. I tried the fried cauliflower with gravy and vegan cheese, potato fritter and pineapple rings (those were so good) i like how the gravy is vegan and they offer vegan cheese and curry sauce. Chips are fine for a fish and chips place. They have a small seating area but the lake is just a 2 min walk away to enjoy your food there.

Amazing

Great chip shop (or shopping container rather) with lots of vegan options - well marked on the menu. It’s on the pricy side, though still cheap for Queenstown. I tried the hand cut chips, potato fritters (aka potato cakes or potato scallops) and the deep fried kiwi fruit (surprisingly amazing). Highly recommend.

Pros: Vegan options marked on menu, Delicious fried food, Novelty options like fried kiwi fruit

Cons: Pricy for a chip shop
