Awesome food, cheap and tasty. Many vegan options, big servings. Great place!

Cafe Erdapfel - the Potato Cafe - does exactly what it says on the tin!

It offers, in central Lubeck, baked potatoes with around 30 different veggies as your fillings, plus around 6 different sauces (3 of which are vegan). Also offers vegan drinks including soya milk option for tea and coffee.

Owner/Manager was very friendly and helpful, spoke decent English and was unaware of this site so I pointed out that he should check out the customer feedback here, including the suggestions that he should begin stocking vegan cheeses!

Cafe has free wifi (very useful) and while I was there it was very busy, with around 5-10% of the clientele asking for vegan options.

Overall, adding up the tasty food, vegan options, friendly service, wifi it's a great place to stop for a bite to eat!

If you like stuffed potatoes, this is a great place to go. They have a nice range of options, and the portion sizes are generous. All in all, it was a good, inexpensive meal.

The restaurant impresses with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The concept is rather simple. Oven baked potatoes with a big selection of dips, vegetables and sauces to choose from. Unfortunately they don't offer vegan cheese or curd alternatives, which usually would come along with the potatoes.

Although I arrived a few minutes after closing time, I was admitted and had to buy me food to take home. Large selection of food and very good prices.

This place offers jacket potato with different toppings to be selected from the menu. I ordered one with Indian topping and Mexican and it was really nice, rightfully spicy and also healthy as potatoes are topped with salads, sauces and lentils or spinach depending on what you order. People out there are also very friendly and so is ambience. I would suggest this place for people who want to try something different than soups and salads as it is vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant

Although I thought that potatoe meals would not be very exciting, I recently wanted to try this new restaurant with some friends. The restaurant location is very central, in a small side-street of the pedestrian zone, and in good weather you can sit outside. Inside it looks light and friendly, and they played some French music. The restaurant owner was very friendly and good-humoured, and we had a nice conversation.
There are several choices of stuffing for your big baked potatoe, and you can get a vegan version of each of them. The food was really delicious (and not boring at all, how I first feared), and enough to fill our bellies well. I really enjoyed it, and I will definitely come back!
