alright, perhaps overrated - Edit
got the tofu schnitzel sandwich and the doner. the schnitzel didn’t feel like tofu, more like a battered rehydrated soy chunk which left it feeling like quite a heavy and chewy eat. doner was ok too but not the best we’ve had in germany. I was excited about the kadayif but they said it was unavailable😒staff were friendly with us though even considering our lack of german.

Der Vorspeisenteller - ein Genuss, der dürüm war wirklich sehr gut! Und baklava hat in meinem Leben wirklich gefehlt 😅 nicht überzeugen konnte uns das pide (langweilig) und der so lecker aussehende schokokuchen war leider total staubig und trocken. Schade!

Ordered the Döner and one (!) piece of banana bread, both were good. The banana bread maybe a little dry, but for sure it was the biggest piece I ever got (see the picture).

I often had vegan Döner with falafel or vegan sauces, but rarely with actual vegan Döner meat. And this one was the best! Great tasting, hot saitan meat in a crispy, fresh bun.

Erbils konnte ich letzte Woche endlich auf meiner "Muss hier mal essen" Liste abhacken. Wir hatten ein pide, einen kleinen Vorspeiseteller, und was Süßes. War alles super lecker, gute Portionen, und freundlicher Service. Fazit: Immer gerne wieder.

There is a great choice of different dishes - appetizers, main coirses and even dessert/cake. I can really recommend the "Vorspeisenteller" and the homemade vegan ayran.

Das Seitan hat mir zu sehr nach Tomatenmark geschmeckt und war nicht so wirklich angebraten. Außerdem war es im Vergleich zum Salat zu viel und das Brot ist unten durch die Saucen aufgerissen. Ansonsten war der Seitandöner ganz ok.

I have been to Erbils for many years and just last week. Their food is as delicious as ever! Best döner I have ever eaten. They also offer many other Turkish specialities. On top of that, I love the vibe. Even with Erbil himself gone (very sad), the staff keeps it up. They also collect money for shelters and animals in need.

The place is really amazing. Would be 6/5 if the seitan is marinated. It’s mainly just oil but the vegan sauces are outstanding so it’s good anyways.
