Delicious vegan Options - Edit

Good atmosphere, good music, and delicious food.
Also, there’s Happy Hour from 5 pm with yummy cocktails.
Sometimes the food can take a little longer to arrive.

We were invited for dinner to reconsider our judgment and indeed had a very pleasant experience this time. Not only was the staff attentive, the food and drinks were of high quality and tasted delicious. The staff confirmed that the food was vegan, without being asked, when bringing it to the table, which was comforting and added to the positive experience.
We will visit Enchilada again for the delicious Horchata (Coconut Kiss, Dragon Kiss - both are vegan and alcohol free) and really above-average food. So we're correcting our rating from one to three stars.
Original review (August 8, 2025):
We visited Enchilada twice, hoping for a solid vegan dining experience. The first time, they offered a "Vegan Thursday" with a fully vegan menu — but confusingly, dishes had the same names as their non-vegan counterparts. We ended up with a meat platter despite only receiving the vegan menu. Staff said we should have "explicitly ordered vegan," which made no sense given the menu. Even after a replacement, the sour cream wasn’t vegan and had to be swapped again.
On our second visit, the regular menu had vegan labels, but we still received vegetarian sides with our vegan mains. Again, we were told we should have clarified — despite the menu clearly separating vegan options. It seems the system requires staff to manually select vegan items, but this shouldn't be the customer’s burden. At least it is very confusing.
The food itself is tasty, the cocktails are great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Staff are friendly, but the wait times were long both times, even when the place wasn’t busy. Sadly, the repeated confusion and lack of clarity around vegan orders broke our trust. One star — otherwise it could’ve been two or three.
P.S. They don't have "Vegan Thursday" anymore.

Wirklich gute Auswahl für verschiedene Ernährungsformen. Für Veganer*innen gibt es neben Fleischersatz auch gebackenen Blumenkohl als Füllung für die Enchiladas, Burritos usw. Karte ist mMn gut gekennzeichnet.

Es gibt viele vegane/vegetarische Gerichte. Seit neustem gibt es Donnerstags nur eine vegane Karte!!! Das ist genial, und genau, da, waren wir da. Großartig. Wir hatten die Enchiladas mit Plant Chicken, Quesadillas und Mexican Fries. Die grüne Soße ist der Hammer. Uns hat es super geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist optisch ein totaler Hingucker. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Wenn es ginge, würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Also, Donnerstags hin da!

No considerable vegan options - Edit
The vegan options are very pathetic. Also the fries which are marked as vegan are prepared in the same fryer as the meat. This was told us by one of the stuff, which was also not really friendly.

Just a few dishes, but tasty and clearly marked in the menu card - Edit
As of now (July 2019) there is no vegan menu anymore. Instead, the vegan dishes are marked with two green leaves in the common menu card. A fajita, a taco, two side dishes and several dips were marked.

I ate here, it was ok. Nothing to get excited about. Salty(celery) dusted tri colour nacho chips, tomato salsa, bland guac. The falafel vurger was ok, had salad on it. It worked but I'm not recommending it. Make sure to state Vegan, no cheese, no mayo!
