No longer fully vegan - Edit
I enjoyed what I ordered, but they are no longer a fully vegan café. They did have multiple pastry options that were vegan, and also some that were vegan gluten-free.

Too bad they are not fully vegan. The pastries are the same ones from Brick House, which in my opinion are pretty bad (because they are gluten free also). My days of buying coffee at Empower are likely over because of this, unfortunately. Plenty of other non-vegan coffee roasters that are more conveniently located.

Read moreEither way, when I arrived I was met with friendly service, good coffee (got a soy mocha), and baked goods (two varieties today).
I'll be back, whenever I'm in Mesa and next time I gotta try the drip since they roast their own beans.
