Vegan food heaven in Cape Coast - Edit
I've eaten here twice now - once for lunch and once for dinner. The restaurant is 100% vegan which is a pretty amazing find in Ghana. The food is honestly outstanding. The portion sizes are very big and will leave you almost too full, so make sure you go hungry. I had the Ghanian stew once and red red the other time, both delicious.
Read moreThe only downside to this restaurant is friends of the owners come in and try and sell you paintings. This is a bit annoying but the reason I mention it is because the man who did this last night was super creepy - tried to look at my friend's bottom, touched her without her consent multiple times and was generally harassing us while we were trying to pay and leave. As a result it put a bit of a damper on what was otherwise a really nice experience at the restaurant.
Pros: 100% vegan menu, Delicious fresh food
Cons: Creepy man (friend of chef)came in and harassed us, Juice came in disposable cup and plastic straw , Quite expensive for Ghana (37 cedis for red red)

Yummy food at a tiny spot by the castle! - Edit
This place is a little wood shack with two tables and a small kitchen.
Read moreI had a delicious plate of red red which is a common Ghanaian dish. It’s more expensive than the usual road side meal but the portion is huge and they add fresh avocado which is a really nice and thoughtful addition! Despite the small place, service was pretty quick and the owner seems friendly and chill!
Pros: Delicious food , Friendly owner, Large portion
Cons: Plastic cups for smoothie

Excellent Ital food - Edit
I came here as often as I could when I was in Cape Coast. It's a cozy small restaurant with only a couple tables, and the walls are covered in paintings and posters for the vegan cause. Instead of looking at the menu, it's best to just ask the chef what he can feed you today. The food is amazing, the portions are huge, and you have a view of the ocean. This may be my favourite place in the world I've ever eaten.
