Ich war etwa etwas abgeschreckt von den schlechten Bewertungen, aber dann habe ich verstanden, dass es aufgrund des Wechsels von einem reinen veganen Restaurant zu einem Vegetarischen ist. Ja, das ist sehr bedauerlich, aber das Essen und der Service waren spitze. Wir hatten 2 x den Chees Burger, ich mit Gurken-Kartoffelsalat, mein Freund mit Wedges. Wir fanden beide die Burger super! Und ich liebe Gurken-Kartoffelsalat!! Latte mit Hafer Milch war ebenfalls lecker. To go hatte ich ein Himbeer Croissant, einen Brownie-Birnen-Kuchen und ein Apfelkuchen. Alles würde ich nochmal nehmen!

I think it’s really expensive for vegetarian food; I was willing to spend more for vegan-only dishes. Plus they also sell Burrata (traditionally made with animal rennet), is it then really vegetarian?

Overall, it’s very warm and cramped inside.
As a vegan, I’ve always loved being able to order everything on the menu. This was my last visit to Emmis; I’ll be eating somewhere else from now on.

I didn't mind paying a little more for fully vegan cafe. Now they arent anymore (might not even be vegetarian as they serve burata). And there prices increased even more.

Awesome pancakes - Edit
Great for breakfast, lots of vegan options for people who like bagels, bowls or bread with avocado stuff. The food not only looks awesome, it also tastes awesome. Highlight for me: the vegan American pancakes. A nice porridge or fruit bowl option without coconut would’ve been nice. But I am very happy.

The food tastes a lot less flavourful than it used to but it's still nice enough and fresh looking. The worst thing for me is that this place stopped being vegan just to add a few vegetarian dishes and cow's milk. Why? This makes no sense to me. I won't be coming back to be honest.

No longer Vegan. Emmi’s Brunch Club - Edit
Sad to hear unlike the other Emmi’s location’s in Munich, this location is only vegetarian now, offering milk, egg, cheese also - along side some vegan options. Disappointing is that the brunch plates seem small for their 18-20€ but don’t offer a protein-meat like Beyond Sausage on plate like in other Emmi’s location. For me, the brunch plates isn’t appealing thus.

Vor 2 Jahren bei meinem letzten Besuch war das Lokal 100% vegan. Die Kellnerin sagte vor ca. Einem Monat hätten sie auf vegetarisch umgestellt. Sehr schade, damit ist auch die vegane Auswahl kleiner geworden. Service und Essen waren trotzdem super.

Da ich vor drei Jahren schon einmal in diesem Restaurant war und das Essen und die Atmosphäre total super fand, wollte ich dort nun wieder frühstücken.
Read moreLeider ist das Menü inzwischen nicht mehr rein vegan, was sehr schade ist. Das vegane Essen war lecker, aber für den teuren Preis leider nicht überzeugend. Auch der Iced Matcha Latte war sehr enttäuschend…er hat kaum nach Matcha geschmeckt und dabei aber 8 Euro gekostet.
Was besonderes negativ war, war die lange Wartezeit trotz Tischreservierung. Leider haben wir über eine Stunde gewartet, bis wir unser Essen bestellen konnten und dann erst nach 1,5 Stunden gegessen. Währenddessen saßen wir in der prallen Sonne, was über den langen Zeitraum sehr unangenehm war. Als wir das Servicepersonal freundlich darauf hingewiesen haben, sind diese nicht auf uns eingegangen. Auch unsere Bitte nach einem Rabatt aufgrund der langen Wartezeit wurde abgelehnt.
Wir würden nicht mehr hingehen…

Went there this week for breakfast. They are no longer fully vegan. That's quite disappointing. No idea if all Emmi branches decided to take this step. Besides that I had a superfood pink latte and the healthy breakfast. Food was great, little pricey.

Ich war total begeistert – das Avocado-Brot ist himmlisch und perfekt gewürzt, einfach ein Klassiker, den man immer wieder bestellen möchte. Aber auch das neue Hummus-Rote-Bete-Brot hat mich überrascht – so eine tolle Kombi aus herzhaft und frisch! Und die Chia Bowl? Ein absoluter Genuss, leicht, fruchtig und so schön angerichtet. Man schmeckt einfach, wie viel Liebe in jedem Gericht steckt. Ich komme definitiv wieder – Lieblingsspot für einen gesunden Start in den Tag oder eine kleine Auszeit zwischendurch!
