Fooled by vegan label - Edit
They could improve by eliminating animal products from their menu. We had to walk far in the rain again to find another place that had a working ethical compass.

Wie auch in der Filiale in Glockenbach gibt es hier ein wirklich tolles Frühstück (Pancakes, Avo Brot mit Scrambled Tofu). Leider ist diese Location nicht komplett vegan.

Vor 2 Jahren bei meinem letzten Besuch war das Lokal 100% vegan. Die Kellnerin sagte vor ca. Einem Monat hätten sie auf vegetarisch umgestellt. Sehr schade, damit ist auch die vegane Auswahl kleiner geworden. Service und Essen waren trotzdem super.

Da ich vor drei Jahren schon einmal in diesem Restaurant war und das Essen und die Atmosphäre total super fand, wollte ich dort nun wieder frühstücken.
Read moreLeider ist das Menü inzwischen nicht mehr rein vegan, was sehr schade ist. Das vegane Essen war lecker, aber für den teuren Preis leider nicht überzeugend. Auch der Iced Matcha Latte war sehr enttäuschend…er hat kaum nach Matcha geschmeckt und dabei aber 8 Euro gekostet.
Was besonderes negativ war, war die lange Wartezeit trotz Tischreservierung. Leider haben wir über eine Stunde gewartet, bis wir unser Essen bestellen konnten und dann erst nach 1,5 Stunden gegessen. Währenddessen saßen wir in der prallen Sonne, was über den langen Zeitraum sehr unangenehm war. Als wir das Servicepersonal freundlich darauf hingewiesen haben, sind diese nicht auf uns eingegangen. Auch unsere Bitte nach einem Rabatt aufgrund der langen Wartezeit wurde abgelehnt.
Wir würden nicht mehr hingehen…

Went there this week for breakfast. They are no longer fully vegan. That's quite disappointing. No idea if all Emmi branches decided to take this step. Besides that I had a superfood pink latte and the healthy breakfast. Food was great, little pricey.

The one at Glockenbach is still fully vegan. I could imagine that this is because the landlord doesn’t allow it, since there was already a vegan restaurant at this location before, which belonged to the yoga studio across.

Emmi’s Kitchen Schwabing ist einfach ein Traum! - Edit
Ich war total begeistert – das Avocado-Brot ist himmlisch und perfekt gewürzt, einfach ein Klassiker, den man immer wieder bestellen möchte. Aber auch das neue Hummus-Rote-Bete-Brot hat mich überrascht – so eine tolle Kombi aus herzhaft und frisch! Und die Chia Bowl? Ein absoluter Genuss, leicht, fruchtig und so schön angerichtet. Man schmeckt einfach, wie viel Liebe in jedem Gericht steckt. Ich komme definitiv wieder – Lieblingsspot für einen gesunden Start in den Tag oder eine kleine Auszeit zwischendurch!

I really want to love Emmi’s Kitchen because it is fully vegan but to be honest I’ve never had a great experience with the food there. I find the cakes too dense and often dry. Last time the cake was so dry I couldn’t eat it. It’s a shame…the staff are friendly and there’s a baby/kids area open Monday to Friday. (The toys are a bit old and crusty but better than nothing)

Hier kann man auf jeden Fall gut frühstücken. Zu empfehlen sind vor allem die Combi-Frühstücke — also mit herzhaften und süßen Gerichten. Ich hatte das Ultimate-Frühstück - der Preis war für die Portion ganz angemessen und ich war danach sehr satt! Alles schmeckte super - vor allem das Tofu-Scramble, es war wirklich ein Traum. Auch die saftigen, fluffigen Pancakes - wirklich super. Ambiente auch sehr angenehm und es war in der Woche sehr ruhig im Restaurant.

I was there for breakfast and it was so yummy. Everything is vegan and the restaurant offers a perfect variation of sweet and salty stuff (including meals with combine both). The pancakes are one of the best vegan ones I had so far! Prices are fair and the stuff is super friendly. #Veganuary
