Amazing Vegan private lunch/dinner! - Edit
For my gf's birthday we went here for lunch with family and friends and we had the best lunch hosted by Francesca and Vegan Master Chef Emanuele. The food was delicious and 7 courses. Vegan heaven for all vegans and non-vegans. Be aware that you have to make a reservation couple of days in advance.

Emanuele e Francesca ci hanno accolti nella loro casa facendoci sentire immediatamente a nostro agio, grazie alla loro simpatia tosco-umbra che ci ha accompagnato per tutte le portate della cena, accuratamente preparate dallo chef Emanuele. Ogni piatto è una vera sorpresa e goduria per il palato, riflettendo la grande professionalità e maestria dello chef. È un’esperienza che vale la pena concedersi, a prova anche dei più scettici verso il mondo vegan. Difficile rimanerne delusi!

Siamo stati benissimo e il cibo è stato così buono e meraviglioso che solo la parola perfetto può rappresentarlo.
Non vediamo già l'ora di poterci tornare.
Dovete fare assolutamente questa esperienza perché sarà indimenticabile; per noi lo è stato.

Unforgettable unique experience! - Edit
During a recent family trip, my sister and I (the vegans) were looking for vegan food near Siena and read about Emanuele Di Biase. Coordinating to fit this into our trip was complicated with some of our flights being moved and us being there right after Christmas, but Francesca was so kind and gracious in helping us find a time that worked.
Read moreWhen we got there, like others have mentioned we were greeted by Nino and Francesca. The chef and their cat also came in to greet us. The table was beautifully set and the view of the lake and town just completed the atmosphere.
They started us with a prosecco that our mom loved. The chef explained each course and throughout we also had wonderful conversations with the chef and Francesca. We had 4 appetizers, the primo piato, secondo and dessert, all accompanied by a wonderful local red wine. Each dish was unique and amazing. We really loved the cold salad, the Parmesan "cheese", the pasta, and the "meat", oh and of course the no-quite panettone at the end.
At the end the chef gave us several of their products for us to try later and I am in love with the chocolate-pistachio spread.
The food was incredible and even got our dad (a self-proclaimed meat lover) to say well "if I got this food everyday I would consider being vegan". All in all this is definitely an experience that if you can go to you should!!!! My parents and us thoroughly loved every second and are so so happy that we were able to go.

Sono stata tanto contenta di poter mangiare a Perugia, per la prima volta, un pasto completamente vegano, il futuro della cucina e la dimostrazione del fatto che si può soddisfare il palato anche senza carne e derivati.
Consigliatissimo!

The best food experience I had in Italy! - Edit
I recently returned from a two week vacation in Italy. I consider myself a amiture vegan chef and hold high standards when it comes to food enjoyment. In planning my trip and looking for vegan options (which are few), I discovered Master Vegan Chef Emanuele Di Biase. After learning about him and his private dinners I made a reservation for my birthday celebration. The experience far exceeded all my expectations, in fact, it was like dining at a michelin star restaurant! The dining took place in their home with a private table beautifully set for two. We were greeted by wife Francesca & Nino, their sweet dog. The food was all handmade with organic ingredients. You could watch chef prepare everything right there in the open kitchen. He create 7 courses in all and each was unique and absolutely fabulous!!! My favorite was the homemade pappardelle with mushrooms, Yum! During our meal Emanuele shared with us the reason he became a vegan chef and his passion for vegan pastry creation. I was surprised with a gorgeous birthday cake made especially for me. My friend, who is not vegan, agreed that this was an incredible experience. Of the two weeks that I explored Italy, this was by far the best dining experience I had. I highly recommend this not only for vegans but for those who are looking for a truly amazing culinary arts experience. Thank you so much Emanuele, Francesca and Nino!!!

Since Perugia and its surroundings didn’t offer many vegan options, we were more than lucky to have found Emanuele and Francesca. This was the most unique experience we ever made. Emanuele and Francesca both made us feel very welcome and at home. Emanuele‘s vegan cooking skills were outreagous. We had a fully vegan and organic 7 course private dinner on their beautiful balcony with an overview of lake trasimeno. Every course was made and presented with love, the portions were more than enough and tasted amazing. We can totally recommend visiting them. Emanuele even packed us a little breakfast box, since our hotel didn‘t have anything vegan for us.

A Private Table Something Else - Edit
We booked a table for 2 and organized our vacation accordingly. Upon arrival we were welcomed as if we had known each other for quite some time. It was more a dinner with friends than going out to eat.
Read moreEach course was accompanied by an explanation of the history of developing an idea for it. So we would immerse into the classical Italian cuisine crossed with excursions to the other continents.
We really enjoyed it and recommend everyone to eat at Emanuele’s and Francesca’s lovely home. You won’t regret it.

Perfect private dinner - Edit
Emanuele's restaurant is a home restaurant which means that it is in his private residence (4th floor with e view onto Lake Trasimeno). So you can not just come by but have to make a reservation. We had a private dinner with no other guests, but I guess they usually have 6-8 guests per evening. You get a 7 dishes tasting dinner and the price includes wine and water. The price depends on how many guests they have and is pretty reasonable even if you come for a 2 person private dinner. Emanuele and Francesca were welcoming and lovely and Emanuele's creations were extremely delicious vegan interpretations of local dishes. We are so happy that we could be their guests and will definitely come back.

This is really a fantastic experience! Emanuele and Francesca make you feel like you’re home. They warmly welcome you, they’re friendly and funny. Their terrace, facing the lake, is amazing especially at the sunset. Emanuele is a master chef. Everything is strictly vegan, bio and beautifully presented. The meal is huge, tasteful and at a even too much reasonable price! I love this place!! Good job!!
