Promising dishes, but disappointing - Edit

I was surprised about few typical German dishes as a vegan version on the menu. I was excited about the vegan Sauerbraten, but it was just boring (probably simply cooked or steamed) lotus root with a lot of too sour red cabbage, two small Kartoffeklöße, and a sauce which was okay. I don’t know where the violet sweet potatoe, mentioned in the dish description, was. In my opinion, there was (except the sauce) zero similarity to a Sauerbraten.

Okay but wouldn't go again - Edit

We went with a work event so I didn't choose it myself.
The place has 2 different vegan dishes one "Auflauf" and one "fried salad" with sweet potato puree and mushrooms.
I had the latter. The mushrooms were actually pretty amazing. The "saltwater fried salad" was a bit strange and felt a bit something someone on a crazy strict diet would eat.
The overall dish looked fancy and special but was very "unfilling" (since the biggest part was cooked iceberg lettuce).

Pros: They tried to come up with something fancy , Friendly staff

Cons: Drinks are super expensive
