I got the vegan empanadas this time and they were excellent! I ordered the puffy vegan tacos last time because that’s the designated vegan option on the menu but I asked about empanadas this time and they were able to make them with beyond beef and vegan cheese. They were great!

Some very good vegan options and definitely worth a visit. The jackfruit tacos were very good. The guacamole was the only disappointing dish: too much tomato and onion, not enough avocado, especially for the price and even given the current cost of avocados.

We had quinoa enchiladas with mole, and chips with guacamole and salsa. Everything was very good, and the servers were very friendly. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu.

Elote is one of Tulsa's best places to eat as a vegan or vegetarian! They have lots of options, and staff is knowledgeable about what vegan means etc. My waitress gave us great service, and mentioned that the owner is a lifelong vegetarian, how cool! Jackfruit tacos are my fav there.

Best bet for vegan food in downtown Tulsa - Edit
Found this place by searching for "food" in google maps (maybe my phone knows I'm vegan?). What a find! Tons of vegan options, really good, non-traditional mexican food. Employees knowledgeable about vegan and were happy to recommend other places to eat too (which is how we found Chimera).
