Most recent visit: Not only was the food the best its ever been, but our female server was excepional, and really elevated our experience! She ensured that all was vegan and even gave us extra sauce on the side. Was a really lovely time.
Read morePrevious review: went for a burger and my husband got the "stew". Burger not as good as it used to be, and the stew was 3 spoonfuls of just brown sauce! It must have been the last of the stew so that's all that was left. It was super bland as well. Never again.
Fries, beyond burger and "beet the root" burger with tartar sauce are fully vegan. We also tried the portobello mushroom burger (asked to skip cheese and mayo and add vegan tartar sauce to make vegan). They also have vegan BBQ sauce. All was excellent, as was the ambiance. NOTE: vegan cauliflower appetizer is NOT VEGAN as its cooked in same oil as meat. And onion rings are NO LONGER vegan as they changed their recipe.

I loved the beetroot burguer. Super delicious! The sweet potatos and the salad were also tasty. Worth trying!

Elli's is a no frills burger and fries joint that hit the absolute spot for my wife and I while traveling in Leuven. The beyond burger is so easily over cooked by non-vegan restaurant but this one was perfectly cooked and prepared with pickles and fixings! House made vegan mayo tartar sauce for the sweet potato fries were a huge hit with us and really topped off the meal well. They also have some quite delicious house-made teas! All the staff were great and friendly and kind. Thank you!

Their beyond burger is amazing. Watch out with the mayo though, most of the time they bring non-vegan mayo (even when requesting the vegan kind) and you’ll need to ask for the vegan kind. Their sticky flower wings are also incredibly delicious. The vegan nuggets are not worth it imo.

Vegan burger was nice, but mayo was not vegan (misunderstanding). The beet the roots is replaced by the beyond burger. I ordered the vegan wings, but they never arrived. The service was not good, very chaotic and many mistakes.

I ordered the Beyond burger: all vegan and possibility to have vegan cheese on top! Very good! Too bad for the not so vegan dragon mayo with the fries... but there is ketchup at every table. The burger was a suggestion but hopefully it will remain on the menu

We both ordered the vegan 'beet the roots' burger. The other vegetarian burgers were either non vegan, or we had to order it without the bun and cheese to veganise it (then not much remains).

Fries were nice, baked in plant based oil. Only 1 vegan sauce available: BBQ.
Restaurant is on ground floor (accessible), but toilets are with steep stairs in basement.
Nice modern interior.
