Read moreFood tasted okay but fries tasted like they were out of the deep fryer for 10 minutes already. Dessert was very good though, got a vegan cookie with my coffee and I loved the caramel crumble they served with the moelleux.
Service was mediocre, they did their job but weren't super friendly.
Went on a weekday evening but sadly a lot of things were not available. This would be okay if they told us before we were ready to order but we only got told after and during our order. And even then we just got a very curt 'that's gone' without an excuse or a grain of sympathy. This happened trice while trying to order our food and we had to switch to another dish every time. Items we did manage to order were served without the things mentioned on the menu (ie no vegan mayo) with no excuses when serving either.
Friend of mine who isn't vegan ordered the nacho's with regular cheese instead of cheese sauce but they got that wrong too.
Pros: Specified vegan options, delicious dessert, good location
Cons: Mediocre service, many menu items not available

An ideal place to visit for a vegan and non-vegan. They do a beyond meat burger with or without cheese and the holy shiitake burger. I opted for the holy shiitake burger as it was something different. It was really tasty and the black pepper sauce was also good. Fairly priced.

Central location in Breda, it has a terrace although we ate inside because of the rain. I ordered the Beyond Burger, it seems small but it comes with a good portion of sweet potato (the menu) and you get quite satiated.

Prima tent met 2 of 3(?) vegan opties, sinds kort hebben ze ook de Beyond Burger die erg lekker is. Er wordt wel vaak non-vegan mayo gebracht dus zeker even aangeven dat je een vegan sausje bij de frietjes wilt. Ook goedkoop en geschikt voor een snelle hap (aangezien de burgers al na 10 minuten op tafel staan).

Visited with my son last week. They only had one Beyond Burger left (lunchtime in a tuesday). Gave it to my son and I ordered the beet burger. First one was cold. They took it out with my knife. When a new one arrived I had to ask for a new knife. I told the waiter I am vegan. He asked me what side dish I wanted. He never mentioned the cole slaw not being vegan I realized afterwords when sat on the toilet with stomach pains.

The beyond burger and the beet burger ate both very tasty amd I can definitely recommend them. There is not much else on the menu but the burger and some fries will fill you up ! If you get/order a salad on the side instead of fries you will have to tell them without the dressing because the dressing is milk based and they don't think about it. They also have a baked potato option but it's dry and tasteless...go for the fries :P
