Top Tier Vegan Options - Edit
We always make sure to visit Elliot's whenever we visit Hunstanton which is usually a couple of times a year. They cook everything vegan separately and there is an excellent menu available with lots of choice. Pictured is pineapple fritter, 'chicken' nuggets, 'fish' fillet, plus mushy peas and tartare sauce! Staff always super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend if you're near by - it's epic!

Having heard high praise, we visited Hunstanton just to try Elliot’s vegan fish & chips. They might look nothing like traditional battered fish but the taste and texture is amazing and well worth the trip. Since watching Seaspiracy I haven’t eaten fish so particularly appreciated the opportunity to eat a delicious meal that contains no once-living creatures. And the home made tartare sauce was divine 🌱😍😋.

On a day trip with my 3 vegan teenagers and I was delighted to find this mobile unit right on the sea front. We really were spoiled for choice! Kids had cheesy chips and one of them had fish and gravy too. Great portion sizes and friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

It is nice to have a vegan option in the area, but the chips weren't that nice, and the portions are small for the price. Food made to order. The pineapple fritters were really nice, as were the battered sausage. The bottle of coke and a water bottle from the fridge were not cold either.

There’s no place quite like the seaside for chips, so I headed to Elliot’s to check out their vegan offerings. The menu was very clear, and I was pleased to see they use separate fryers, no cross-contamination here.
Read moreI had my eye on the vegan fysh, but in the end, I settled for the smaller sausage in batter with chips. I wasn’t waiting long before my order was ready. The sausage was herby, the batter perfectly crispy, and there was no shortage of chips.
It can be a challenge to find chip shops with decent vegan options, so hats off to Elliot’s for offering a varied vegan menu.

Have been to Elliot’s on numerous occasions and they never disappoint! Their vegan menu is fantastic, with loads of choice and they regularly come up with new ideas and dishes like their loaded fries which I haven’t been able to try just yet. There is also a cafe right next door that serve a huge selection of vegan cakes! 🌱

A chippie van which has vegan alternatives for every meaty/fishy offering. All freshly cooked to order. Tried the fish and battered sausage, both lovely. Nice chips, top notch mushy peas, and homemade tartare sauce🤩🤩Not had that in a long while. Well worth a visit. Elliott and his work chum are lovely hard-working people - give them your support! You can also pop indoors to his girlfriend’s cafe for coffee and cake afterwards (Em’s Den)

Great vegan options. Fish fillet was great, as were battered sausage and chicken nuggets. I think some of the vegan options are frozen but tbh not that bothered because cooked nicely and all tasted great. Main thing is we have the options! Chips were tasty too. Also good value considering the location.

Had the fish and chips with the vegan tart sauce. The fish was made out of rice and super delicious. The chips were on the softer side but they warned me about that when I ordered.

Really great vegan menu with loads of options. I had the vegan fish and chips with mushy peas which were really delicious, and if you get offered the vegan tartare sauce definitely take them up on it, it’s lush!

It was great to see plenty of vegan options on the menu, and to hear they cook the fried food in a completely separate fryer. The fillet was Moving Mountains which I hadn't tried before. It was very nice - tasty with a good texture, and the chips & peas were a delicious accompaniment.

Extensive menu of vegan seaside favourites. I opted for fish, chips and mushy peas. Absolutely delicious, and not a drop of grease!! Highly recommended, especially for watching the sun setting over the sea.

Superb little food trailer of delights! I had the ‘fish’ fillet & chips, the fillet is rice and nori based and not the usual tofu. It reminded us of a fish cake, and was delicious.

So nice to be able to have fish and chips at the seaside! A range of vegan options and they are very clear that vegan food is cooked separately and all food is cooked in vegetable oil. Would be amazing if they could do vegan batter! Staff very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Had vegan ‘fish’ and chips when I visited. Good portions and friendly staff. (In the photo they’d accidentally used the wrong paper to line mine. They usually use the same paper with the logo in green for vegan as it’s kept separate)

The “fish” tasted better than real fish to me, but then I was never a huge fish fan! Really convincing though, texture was on point!
“Chicken” nuggets tasted great and the cheesy chips and curry sauce was great!!
