I am so sad this restaurant closed. At some point in my life I would have to go to Zurich often for work, and I just loved having meals at Elle N' Belle! I heard the owners still have a Catering Business so to me it makes sense to still add this review of the many visits, even after it being closed.. because I believe that anything associated with this people will probably be as amazing as the restaurant was.
Read moreThe venue was really big and had a very nice vibe, the food was top notch, I ate so many very good dishes there.. their vegan shawarma was the best I ever had, the vegan cordon bleu makes my mouth water just to think of it and so was everything else they cooked... I never had a bad meal there. The deserts were also super delicious, as was their home made red tea.
Really, so sad this doesn't exist anymore, I hope they eventually open a new restaurant.

I finally make it to Elle ‘n Belle and it’s their last night!? I’m so happy I got to try the Manson burger but I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to try the rest of the menu 😩 This place has (had) a fun atmosphere and great tasting food and I really hope they open in another location!

After a long day on a tour I was dropped off at the bus station. It was a 6 minute walk here. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun & funky restaurant. Everyone was super nice too! They gave me an English menu and were super helpful with all my questions. I ended up ordering the Bagel Burger with Sweet Potato French Frys. #amazing This was one of the BEST vegan burgers I have ever tasted!!! I ordered the Churro for dessert. So much goodness going on! Churro’s, ice cream, whipped cream & strawberry sauce were delicious!! I’m not a fan of chocolate...but it tasted like warm fudge...so good!!! I can’t wait to visit Zurich again..and I will always stop by & try new things here! A

Our last night in Zurich, my boyfriend and I chose Elle N' Belle as our final meal. We are both music people who LOVE vegan food & cocktails so Elle N' Belle delivered. We were a tad disappointed on the wait to get seated. There wasn't anyone ahead of us and open tables so it was puzzling. Once seated, we were forgotten again as it must've been 10 minutes before we had a server. And, it was another 10 before our beers arrived. Slightly disappointed by the service but we weren't about to give up. I ordered the Irish pot pie and it was absolutely divine. It was savory & scrumptious -- the perfect comfort food as it was cold & rainy outside. My boyfriend ordered the Manson burger. It was definitely a hit too though we'd just had burgers in Italy the week before at half the cost that were just as good. The prices were eye-popping. (~$27 a burger) Still, we brushed it off as Zurich, a town in which I visit often because of family and know to be expensive. Overall, it was a GREAT experience and it was wonderful seeing a full-house of patrons. Alas, I later read on their website that they are closing their doors in Spring 2018 due to their lease coming up. I hope they figure out another avenue because it would be a pity to never be able to visit again.

Great Vegan Food in Switzerland - Edit
Elle N' Belle was truly a fantastic experience! I visited during a trip to Zurich the last week in November and the food was perfectly seasonal. You MUST try the cheese plate and be sure to ask for drink recommendations. The space is fresh, trendy/hipster, and even is dog friendly! The staff was helpful, friendly, and able make recommendations and answer all questions we had about drinks or the menu. It's definitely worth the trip if you're in Zurich to dine here! Food is amazing!

There were seven interesting and tasty-looking lunch menus to choose from and all looked good. Had a jackfruit pasta and soup, both were good, especially the soup, and the cake and hot chocolate that I had for dessert too.

Die Mittarbeitern schaute kurz nach und fand für uns ein Plätzchen. So konnte ich mit meiner Partnerin ein gemütliches sehr schmackhaftes Essen geniessen.

The restaurant has a great feel to it. We enjoyed hanging by the bar while we waited for our table. The food was great. The pizza appetizer was my group’s favorite. It was closely followed by the cheese platter. For entrees, the burgers were big hits. I had the Manson Burger with “cheez”. The mushroom dish was also given high marks. Our group included both vegans and non- vegans and everyone enjoyed the meal.

Very nice restaurant, quite big. I discovered it cause I was going to a concert at X-Tra and needed to find somewhere to eat. It was around 5pm so we had to pick something from the "bar menu", so we had some kind of kebab/wrap, which was extremely good and tasty.

We were surprised to find such a big (and quite busy) all vegan restaurant in the middle of zurich. It is very cozy and very authentic american diner style.
Read moreWe had a salad, a cheeze plate and a tartar with sweetpotato fries (uploaded rhe fotos) a red wine and a chai latte. Everything was very delicious and lovely decorated. Staff was very attentive, friendly and fast. :)

We came around 3pm for lunch. The regular lunch menu ended at 2pm so we could get only a cold sandwich or other light fare. We had salad and a sandwich, which were very good.

Since I was only 2 days in Zürich I had to choose carefully where to go since the city has a lot of great places. I am really glad that I decided to come to this place since it is really amazing.

Next it has great food-I went there at 3om when they only had a short menu available but nevertheless I took the vegan kebab and it was super tasty. The portion was enermous and the price only 12.5 which is really cheap in Zurich.
I am sad that I had to leave since I would have liked to come back for a burger or a delicious looking cake.

Great vegan food. Recommend recommendations which can be easily done on their website. I had a small butterfly kisses salad, red burger, and black forest cake. All were excellent. Friendly service and English menu available. Food was slow to come out because they were packed. Would go again.

A must if you are in Zurich. Nice place, nice people. The location is modern, a big place with an intimate atmosphere. The food is very good (I ate a vegan cheeseburger, super!) and all vegan. So, if you're vegan, you can have good food without stress, if you are not vegan the place deserves a visit.

Read moreWe made a reservation online and came and had a nice seat outside with some privacy, it seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not provide smoking/non-smoking areas for outside seating, so when a person close to us lit one up, we asked if we could move. This bummed me out a little bit, but the decor inside was nice too so that was ok.
My partner had the wasabi risotto which was really good and the flavours were so deep! I ended up with the Manson burger which came on a black bread. The burger was good, but not excellent. But the chips, those were excellent and some of the best I've ever had! The coleslaw side too was very good.
The staff were ok, not the nicest I've ever met but not the worst either. Maybe I was expecting more due to the price of the food.
I would recommend this place, but beware of smoking if you choose to sit outside and have problems around smoke or just don't like it when eating
Prices were fair/average for Zurich, considered very expensive for any tourist though I would think.
