First Time, Good Time - Edit
It’s in a good location. The menu has plenty of options and the mammoth burger, sweet potato fries, and the dragon fruit lemonade was really good!

Fresh and Healthy! - Edit
I had a fresh, healthy Thai Crispy bowl which was overflowing with colorful vegetables and tofu, accompanied by a flavorful dressing. Yum!

Solid vegan fast food! - Edit
Burgers, sandwiches, wraps, very casual walk-in fast food vibe! Pretty good milkshakes. I had a back bean burger that was solid, they also have an impossible burger option. Not the greatest but not a bad quick meal!

E+V - Edit
The food was OK and not really exciting. The vegan sausage egg and cheese sandwich was fine but not something I’d order again. The vegan breakfast burrito was not great. The potato inside the breakfast burrito was particularly cold and the flavor of the burrito could have been better. We were the only people in the restaurant and the staff oddly took an extraordinary amount of time preparing our food, yet, it was not hot. To top things off, we actually tried to eat at this restaurant the day prior (and walked an hour and a half to get to it) only to be told that they couldn’t serve hot food because of a technical issue.

I forgot to mention that the $6 cold brew was extremely watery / tasteless coffee, which was upsetting.

Try their new breakfast! - Edit
New breakfast menu is amazing! I was a fan of their black bean burger before but the breakfast is even better. I got the burrito but everything else looked delicious as well.

Fine for what it is - Edit
Roughly fast food quality food in a nicely curated space. Its main draw is obviously being all-vegan; makes for a good place to take non-vegans or a quick bite.

So surprisingly good! - Edit
This place is pretty expensive for burgers/chicken but it’s SO GOOD! I have celiacs so i’m gf as well and they actually have a gluten free chicken sandwich option! I could have cried I haven’t had a chicken sandwich in years! It hit the spot so deeply! The fries were just okay tbh but I know they were a little short staffed when we went so I think part of it was just being a bit cold. I definitely want to go back!

Super crispy fries - Edit
I love vegan junk food places! I went with a wrap, and I think if I went back I’d probably go for a burger. Fries were delicious. A little spendy for what you get. They have separate fryers for gluten free so people with celiac can have the fries and lots of things can be made gf!

Comfort Food at its Finest - Edit
Elephant + Vine is truly vegan comfort food at its best and at amazingly affordable prices as well.
Read moreMy small group came here for lunch on a weekday and had a great time. Their menu consists of burgers, salads, wraps, shakes, and more. I was very interested in trying out their Buffalo Chik'n and Korean BBQ Chik'n Burgers ($12 each) since I am still on the search for the best of the best. Both of the sandwiches were delicious with the buffalo being the standout.
We also tried their Cauliflower Wings ($9) which resembled little nuggets that can be dipped in a sweet chili sauce. The batter was not heavy at all and it tasted great with the burgers.
Their milkshakes were also fantastic. I had the Sea Salt Caramel Shake and that is one to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. It took me a few hours to actually finish it since it was quite thick, but it definitely made it worthwhile.
Would absolutely come back here again the next time I'm in Chicago if I'm feeling for some junky vegan food.

More like Nashville warm chicken - Edit
The fries are so good and crispy. The chicken is great. But don't sell me a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich that isn't spicy. My husband and son loved their sandwiches (Baja burger & Zero Clucks).

Sometimes you just want a big greasy cheesy overstuffed, burger, and fries. - Edit
This is it. If I were to bring non-vegans to a place and try to impress them with a vegan burger, this would be the place. I don’t need hair often, but when I do it really hits the spot.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, free parking! - Edit
I had the Thai Crunch Bowl and ate every bite. The dressing was magic! It was also gluten-free! The prices didn’t break me. And there is free 90-minute parking in a garage right across the street with a purchase there. Neat and cozy atmosphere, too! Sad I didn’t know about this place sooner!

Tasty Food Hip Vibe - Edit
Cauliflower wings were the bomb. Tasty southern comfort bowl was pleasantly lighter and healthier than the name suggests. SoCal cauliflower burrito super tasty.

Kind of overpriced, but good food - Edit
It’s a burgers and fries kind of place. I got the double Baja burger, which was good, the strawberries and cream milkshake which probably was the best vegan milkshake I’ve had, and the brownie which wasn’t that great.
Read moreI hate to ever say anything bad about any place that’s all vegan as I want them to succeed. And who knows, I’ll probably end up eating from here again. That being said, I’m not sure if the food was worth the price.
Cons: Probably overpriced for what it is.

Just fine - Edit
I was excited to have this place open but it was a really big let down. Being inEvanston, my expectations were not what I’d have for the city. Evanston is generally overpriced and the top spots are a solid B /A- at best. I went down during opening week to find incredibly uninspired and underwhelming fare. I get that some vegans want things that taste like meat but I gave up meat because, well, I don’t like meat. Most things on the menu are processed fake meat. For what they charge, I’d like something more than an impossible burger or chik’n. This restaurant is for veg curious folks and not vegan/vegetarians

If you’re desperate - Edit
Mediocre at best. If you’re in a pitch and need something vegan to eat, fine. But honestly not worth $30 for wrap, fries and shake. So many other quality veg places in the city which are worth an Uber ride.

Delicious Healthy - Edit
My husband and I shared the SoCal wrap and the burrito.
Read moreThe SoCal wrap had battered cauliflower with corn and a perfect cilantro lime sauce. The burrito was really good too, filled with rice and beans and a great sauce. We were so happy to have a meal with fresh delicious ingredients as so many vegan places in Chicago just serve fake meats with fake cheese.

Really good American vegan food - Edit
Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Really good standard American vegan food - burgers, wraps, shakes, etc. a little overpriced, but good. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was pretty good as well, friendly staff.
