Dishes can be modified to vegan - Edit
Food was very good but there are not many vegan dishes on the menu. As is the case with most Greek dishes, you can remove dairy, etc to make it vegan. The baked, stuffed zucchini flowers are delicious. Just ask for them without yogurt. Horiatiki salad ask for without feta. Beets and skordalia (cold mashed potato with tons of garlic & olive oil) comes with Horta (boiled greens - Swiss chard here) and is excellent. Batter on fried zucchini doesn’t seem to contain egg but fritters may contain it and/or cheese. Spaghetti with tomatoes and olives can be ordered without feta. Food was tasty and waiter was accommodating but he said his girlfriend is a vegetarian and Messinia is not super vegan friendly.

Delicious fresh food - Edit
As there were.no listings for veg and vegan options on Happy Cow I was delighted to stumble upon this restaurant with lots of variety. I had grilled peppers which were full of flavour, with local olive oil and fresh bread to start. For my main course I had incredible stuffed zucchini flowers with rice. It comes with tzatziki but you could swap for houmous or fava etc.
