Elemen, Woodlands South

Most dishes seem to have egg or dairy. Even with customisation, there isn't much vegan choice. The menu hasn't a vegetable dish section, lots of starch based items. At least they've brown rice and a couple of salad dishes. The waitor was nice enough.

Pros: At least has small number of vegan options, Brown rice available, Some small salads on the menu

Cons: All vegan is always better, Menu marking vegan items would be an improvement, More vegetable dishes would be better

Agree. Have decided to stop patronising as there isn’t really not much vegan options. A lot of the items aren’t even customisable

Calming decor and serene atmosphere

Had dinner at Elemen, tucked away inside Koufu HQ in Woodlands.
Absolutely loved the calming decor and serene atmosphere—felt worlds away from the usual bustle. A perfect little escape.

Prata was on point—crispy and satisfying. Paired nicely with the curry, though I left almost the whole bowl behind. Two pieces don’t quite justify that much sauce—it’s just a dip, not a soup!

Clean and new environment

Booked and ordered in advance for reunion dinner with family. Restaurant missed out our Yusheng order and we realised after we were nearly into our mains and yusheng was still not served to us despite seeing it being served to others.

Food were yummy and filling. Staff were helpful and friendly too.

Cons: Location not near to MRT stations

Great restaurant in Woodlands

Can not rate 5 star due to Elemen use egg in their menu like taufu and sushi. O
Please consider to let consumer have a better option to request eggless during ordering. Thank you for your attention.

Pros: High class standard of environment , Aircond , High standard of quality food

Cons: Expensive , Contain egg in most of the menu, management pl consider preparing a Eggless menu

5th Posh outlet very beautiful

U gotta check out @elemensg new outlet at Woodlands Height (Video). Very Posh and atas. Great for a romantic night!

We had the 8 course Modern Planti-Licious Menu $42.8 from at this outlet:

✅APPETISER TRIO 开胃三拼
Smooth, handmade tofu drizzled with Japanese soy sauce; followed by the king oyster mushroom topped with vegan caviar; and truffle honey mascarpone cheese in mini pappadam, adorned with vegan caviar.

✅BURRATA SALAD 布拉塔奶酪沙拉
- My personal Favorite of the set. This dish alone makes the set worthwhile IMO! Burrata salad usually cost about $20 on average at restaurants. Thanks to the addition of cubed watermelon, konnyaku 'salmon' for added textures, this is one of my fav Burrata salad!

✅JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE SOUP 西式菊芋浓汤
- Velvety, savoury soup bursting with flavours. Sweet, nutty flavour of the Jerusalem artichoke with luscious creaminess and herby notes. Pls make this soup permanent! Unique creamy flavours that won for my tastebud.

✅SMOKED EGGPLANT TOAST 烟熏茄子土司
- The Unagi is surprisingly meaty in texture, nothing like eggplant. I love the Teriyaki Sauce and Japanese mayonnaise coating, with pillowy toast, Tosago and kale.

✅&SO PLANT-BASED PORK SKEWER 日式串烧
- This is the smokey Fire🔥 dish on my 1st pic! Immerse in the Japanese vibe with this plant-based pork glazed in teriyaki sauce on a stick for that delectable sweet-savoury tang. I love the meaty texture of the meat as well as the smokey umami. Very delicious!

✅TRUFFLE ARMY STEW 松露韩式部队锅
-A unique rendition of our usual Army Stew. The broth is light and flavourful. Love the &So plant-based Truffle Luncheon Meat accompanied kimchi. They used rice vermicelli instead of the usual instant noodles.

✅CRÈME BRÛLÉE CEMPEDAK 小波罗蜜焦糖布丁
- Super love this sweet ending. Creamy custard infused with a Cempedak flavour and covered with a caramelised sugar crisp and topped with a tangy raspberry sorbet.

✅ICED BLACK SEA SALT MOCHA 冰黑盐摩卡
- I love this despite not being a coffee lover. Very Aromatic and sweet with a hint of savoury.

My Top personal picks in order of rank would be the Burrata salad, Smoked eggplant toast, &SO pork skewers, Jerusalem artichoke Soup and Truffle Army Stew (though I would prefer instant noodles). I would love to come back for this 8 course set again. The course is available at ALL outlets
