Review long overdue

We have known this restaurant for almost 4 decades now and from that time to now one this is certainly true that they don’t compromise on quality. They charge you more compared to other street side joints or other restaurants as well and most of it is justified. The following items we had

Bhel - generous quantity. Asked for spicy but the spice level was still mild. Could have needed more pani puri powder Masala and the spicy chutney was not

Sev Poori - more toppings on the poori. The toppings were overflowing the pooris underneath.

Katori Chaat - I ordered one without yogurt to make it vegan/dairy free. The Katori too hard even after some while and also perhaps it was not topped with yogurt.

The quintessential Pani Poori - beautifully packed and generous amount of water and Moong beans and potatoes and sweet chutney.

Pros: Many of the dishes are naturally vegan , Many of the dishes can be made vegan, Quality in every dish

Cons: More expensive when compared to other restaurants

Taste is 5 star but then it is snack food crowded with fans

Chat shop offers super bhel, sweets, Chinese, south India and chaats . 4-5 pages of menu with drinks and snacks food, they do a lot of volume, superb service, food appears within minutes from ordering. Seating also upstairs

This was pretty good fast street/restaurant food. You can order on the street or go upstairs with a slight upcharge. Had two different kinds of Dosa they were both good. I asked for no butter and the street server understood me but there is honestly no telling with food like this if something along the way hasn't been precooked with butter. It was good, only 110r each. Fairly decent. However, the rest of the food was in the 170-250r range. So be aware, the prices aren't exactly "street food" prices. Busy place though.
