El Veganito del Charco

THIS IS THE PLACE TO VISIT IN LANZAROTE!!!!! :) This cafe is beautifully located and decorated and the menu + food of the day give you loads of options to have a vegan feast! We loved the peanut butter smoothie called 'El Veganito' + the spinach lasagne of the day.
The service has been wonderful as well!

This small restaurant is a good find along a nice stretch of cafes next to the water. I ate the best fake meat ever here, and the omelette was also great! they had also just baked a chocolate cake which was delicious. They sell booja ice cream and fake meats/cheeses and cerials etc..

We visited this place twice. Gloria is an enthusiastic cook, everything is home made. It tastes very good and if she would use less oil it would be perfect.

We visited here based on other reviews on Happy Cow. We loved it so much we went twice. The typical restaurants on the island tend not to be vegan friendly. After a few days of veganizing vegetarian dishes, it was great to have a whole menu to choose from. Also there is a small shop, where you can buy vegan cheese/ meat alternatives.

Nice idea and good booja booja ice cream (which I can buy in the supermarket at home) but super slow service despite it being quiet, hot food was cold, no avocados (the cornerstone of most dishes and in a place where there are avocados everywhere) ..... Their saving grace is vegans are always grateful to vegans who have set up shop and are trying hard. They need to try MUCH harder though :)

Good food and very friendly staff. The location is very good with a view of el charco. The typical Canarian cuisine is not very veg-friendly and we were very happy to find this place.

Excelente sitio para comer, cenar y comprar todos los alimentos veganos que necesites (quesos, embutidos, helados, etc)

Un pequeño y acogedor local en el que el trato y la comida no pueden definirse de otra manera: ¡exquisito!. Cuenta con un segundo piso en el que hay muchos libros, muchos con información sobre el veganismo. Sirven tanto comida rápida, en su versión más saludable posible (pan integral, patatas fritas sin aceite, batidos y zumos naturales, vegetales producidos en canarias en su mayoría...), como platos elaborados con mucho amor en los que priman productos ecológicos, deliciosos. Otro aspecto a tener en cuenta es el precio, posiblemente unos de los veganos más baratos en los que he estado. ¡Ah! también es tienda, con infinidad de productos para llenar tu nevera y tu despensa. ¡¡Larga vida al Veganito!!
