Vegan Five Stars

Have been enjoying this spot for many years now. Delicious (lentil potato) taquitos, rice, beans, fries and salsas all are vegan. Very clean dining area and restrooms.
Staff at this location is consistently and remarkably friendlier than Civita.

Note: Free Civita parking very easy, steps to storefront from street and parking garage is hard to resist over El Cajon Blvd cluster. Just wish staff were more welcoming. (Kitchen staff even smiled through window and was more pleasant than cashier, pre-occupied scrolling on cell phone.)

Vegan potato taquitos

Friendly service explaining all the vegan options. The vegan taquitos were tasty with guacamole cabbage and salsa. Ordered the combo with beans and rice. Both vegan. A nice clean spot!

Two Vegan Options & Sides!

Simple Menu - Taquitos aka Rolled tacos, Sides & Drinks. It's great that they offer 2 Vegan options - Potato & Lentil/Quinoa. They're both good. Wish they would offer vegan cheese. Beans are good but the Rice was a bit bland, both vegan. Watch out for the Spicy salsa, very hot! If you order to go they separate the toppings so the Taquitos don't get soggy!

Pros: Vegan options.

Cons: No vegan cheese

Unexpectedly Vegan Friendly

With clearly vegan marked, short, menu, it's a pleasure to see how many items here are vegan. While in my fantasies they would offer a sprinkle of vegan cheese, I find a dash of salt finishs a plate of taquitos well enough.

Pros: Vegan marked menu
