My vegan family of 5 decided to enjoy our last meal in Puerto Viejo here. We are all so happy we did. My 2 youngest got the Singapore Rice Noodles. My eldest got the bibimbap. My wife had the kimchi soup, and I had the curry with Indonesian sauce. Everything was beautiful, delicious, and large.

I chose to build my own meal by choosing my "protein" (mixed sauteed vegetables done perfectly al dente in a very flavorful and little spicy "Traditional Caribbean" sauce I chose from a list of four), rice & beans, and papas. Plus a Cuba Libre for good measure. Partner got the veggies in "Creamy Avocado" sauce but we weren't sure if that one was vegan. Big hearty portions, very delicious, well worth the time and money, would eat here again.

I was here with my friend and had a Buddha bowl, the flavour was great but it left me still feeling hungry, it really needed some rice, it's mostly just veggies and dressings/hummus

Sol Del Caribe is not to be missed! The food, service, and ambiance are excellent. I was impressed with how much of the menu is exclusively vegan or can easily be made vegan. I highly recommend the Mei Gorang or the curry. Don’t sleep on this gem!
