No fue la mejor experiencia siendo vegana, la opción que me dieron fue MUY simple, falta de creatividad pero entiendo que no es un restaurante vegano así que no lo recomiendo si eres vegano. Pero en general buena atención y bonito lugar.

Great option for Vegan Pizza in Tamarindo & Playa Langosta

What a fun find! El Sapo Risto can be found in Playa Langosta, a leisurely 25 minute walk from the centre of Tamarindo (perhaps quicker if you're not herding a four year old!). The restaurant has an entirely separate vegetarian menu with lots of fairly unusual options on there. They were happy to veganise any of the veggie pizzas, but also have two entirely separate and clearly labelled vegan pizzas on the menu too. Staff were very friendly and happy to accomodate!

We chose the "Vegetariana" pizzao without cheese, and the vegan "Sapo Ortolana", which had a sauce of creamed broccoli along with mushrooms, eggplant/aubergine, garlic and cherry tomatoes. Unlike some restaurant attempts at vegan pizza, they were both moist and delicious rather than dry, as can sometimes happen when places just remove the cheese. The broccoli sauce was a really tasty replacement for tomato paste! The veganised Vegetariana pizza was delicious too, with a really generous amount of tomato sauce. Both pizzas had really wonderful bases, hand stretched and cooked in a brick oven. They tasted wonderful!

The restaurant was good value too, because our two pizzas were $7 each and easily enough to feed three people.
