3* - Good food, but value for money is bad

I don't mind paying for food.. as long as it's worth the money.

I'm very happy that El Pecado has vegan options, there's a lack of vegan dinner places in Salamanca so it's really nice that they have 4 vegan dishes in their menu.

That said, even though the food was good, it's no way worth the value they charge for it, and there's a big imbalance in price/quality/quantity of the dishes.

The meatballs were quite ok, but as a main dish they should probably have a side.. the wok vegetables are also OK (a bit salty) but it's the other way round, they seem like a side. Then you have the gyozas.. 7 gyozas for the same price as the others (each costs about 13.75€ if I remember correctly)... it's just a bit messy and makes no sense.

The vegan desert was quite ok and fairly priced and so was the wine (was actually cheap at 3€ per glass).

The free small soup was also a nice touch, but doesn't compensate for the rest.

I hope they will adjust this a bit in the future.. add some more substance to the vegan dishes so that they are worth their price, and that at the same time they can be a proper meal when not combined (or make it clear that those dishes should be combined into a proper dish).

Muy buena experiencia

Las camareras sumamente personales y encantadoras! Los platos de la carta son muy modernos además de que estaba delicioso. La única pega que podría poner es que el servicio si que fue algo lento, pero al tener un trato tan individual no me importó para nada😄

A lovely meal

Maybe the restaurant has taken note of a few negative reviews as I experienced friendly, welcoming staff. Great vegan options, food was served promptly and was delicious. Portion sizes big enough to share. Very good value for money. Recommend you try this place

Gezellig in hartje Salamanca

Leuk restaurant verdeeld over meerdere etages met prima gerechten voor vegetariërs en vleeseters. Ze hebben meerdere vegan opties.
