Serves meat, vegan options available. A small, local Mexican food eatery that accommodates vegan diners. Could order a sauteed vegetable mix as substitute for most of the menu items (burrito, enchilada, chili relleno). Beans, rice, and most sauces are vegan suitable. The first floor is counter service. Upstairs (not wheelchair accessible) has table service. All menu items are available upstairs as well as down. Open Mon 5:00pm-10:00pm, Tue-Sat 11:30am-10:00pm.

We love, love, love El Mundo. They have an awesome sauteed vegetable mix that's different from one visit to the next. You can order enchiladas, tamales, and burritos with the veggie mix and they're vegan. For vegan dishes, order the black beans. The "spicy beans" are vegetarian, but not vegan. The chili rellenos are ridiculous! It's a stuffed poblano pepper, so you can order it with the sauteed veggies and it's vegan. The guacamole is so very good.
Margaritas are incredible -pick from mango, prickly pear, blood orange, and more - with real fruit. Also, seasonal specialties.
Very busy - get there early if you don't want to wait.
Downstairs is counter service, if there's an empty table you can grab it.
Pros: excellent food, friendly, knowledgeable servers, good strong margaritas
