Non vegan items served despite specifying vegan

Asked for the vegetarian burger without the coleslaw, I also specified vegan when ordering. It arrived with a slice of cheese

The hummus platter was okay but not filling

If you dine here, I recommend explaining to the staff what vegan means. The food was otherwise okay

Nice enough place!

They have several marked vegetarian dishes on the menu including a hummus platter, burger, salad, curry and pastas. I asked which of these were vegan and she pointed to all of them even though both the pasta dishes included parmesan. So, I didn't necessarily trust their understanding of veganism.

I therefore opted for the hummus platter and sweet potato fries as I could see all the ingredients listed were vegan. Hummus and breads were nice but crudités looked a little tired.

Place has a great atmosphere and happy hour cocktails including a fresh coconut milk pina colada. There is indoor air conditioned seating. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I left full and satisfied but probably won't return while in Coron due to lack of options. Good to come with non-vegans though.
