Why Corte Ingles here? - Edit

I totally agree with Dodolo82: I don't think that Corte Ingles should be listed in HappyCow. Corte Ingles does nothing to support a vegetarian lifestyle.

Of course you can buy all types of soy milk and coconut milk there, but that's simply because it's a supermarket, you can find the same in Mercadona and in other big chains.

Cons: The place is full of meat and fish, It's a standard supermarket

Not sure about its ranking - Edit

I consider it s not proper to have a big supermarket in the same list as the Veggy restaurants in a city. They do sell also some veggy stuff, but I dont think that advertising the biggest chain of grocery store in Spain was the original purpose of Happw Cow.

Pros: Variety of products

Cons: It s not a restaurant

Stevie 20 Apr 2015 - Hi Dadolo82,

Absolutely agreed. Have you considered hitting the update' option on happycow to notify this to the people at happycow HQ?

Stevie

El Corte Ingles - Edit

There are several stores in the city. The one at Plaza del Duque de la Victoria is quite big and they have plenty of veggie/vegan food and also a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. They have all kinds of non-dairy milk and soy yoghurt.
