Vegan options at this village gem - Edit
We had lunch in the sun at this fab bar, when travelling from Madrid to Alicante. We were greeted by the owner, Carmen, who was friendly and knowledgeable about vegan food. As soon as we told her we were vegan, she started recommending dishes.
Read moreWe had a salad to start, which had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, cucumber, sweetcorn, avocado. Followed by grilled vegetables (aubergines, courgettes, onions & tomatoes) and home-made French fries, which came with a really tasty vegan pesto sauce that was made with pistachios.
We will definitely return when in the area.
Update March 2025: we have now visited this restaurant 3 times for lunch. Each time, the food and service have been excellent.
