Cute small place - Edit
I’m glad HappyCow notified me of this cute small place near the San Juan museums. The food here is delicious, but as mentioned there are few options, I didn’t mind at all as the vegan tuna sandwich was absolutely delicious. The recycling system genuinely made me smile, I haven’t seen such proper recycling in many restaurants. It’s affordable and serves just what I needed. Will definitely be coming back here.

I was in between work calls and stepped out to grab lunch at El Cafecito. I almost bailed because Google's directions weren't clear. Hint: you can't go around Supermercado Pueblo; you must get on Calle McKinley. You'll enter a little strip mall and find El Cafecito tucked in on the left with its pocket of outdoor seating, shaded and surrounded by bright colors and outdoor plants. I'm so glad I found it. Ordered the vegan tuna sandwich, made with chickpeas on ciabattini bread. Comes with a side of chips. I was late to my other call but well worth it. You can also order ahead through the Clover app. El Cafecito is vegetarian but the vegan options are clearly labeled. Also serves pastries, coffee, tea, wine, and beer. A discount if you bring your own cup. El Cafecito is definitely a find.
