Located directly on the promenade and just a couple of steps from Anfi Beach in Patalavaca, the cafe offers friendly service, a view and plenty of vegetarian choices and a growing list of vegan choices. Offers soy milk for coffee (made on an Italian coffee machine) and sandwiches with vegan margarine, veggies and avocado. You can sit and people-watch on the promenade or take to the beach. Serves a good variety of fresh salads, sandwiches, baguettes, bagels and donuts, cakes and even some varieties of ice cream (3 vegan choices). Wi-Fi. Has live music. Removed Nov 2017 - reported to have limited vegan options.

No Vegan options available - Edit
Due to the entry on Happy Cow I went to El Café and had a look into the menu. There were no vegan options and then I asked the service staff and she also said that they don't have any vegan option. She said that I wasn't the first person who asked for it due to an internet entry. This entry should be removed!

And the view is spectacular.

Or take your coffee to go and enjoy a walk on Anfi Beach, which is literally 3 steps from El Café.
Coffee comes from an original Italian maschine, sandwiches are made fresh and vegetarian options are plenty.
El Café offers a variety of sandwiches and salads, donuts and other pastries, fresh ice cream and snacks.
Ask for vegan options and plant-based milk for your coffee!
The best part: They open at 7 am, so on your morning run to the market you can watch the joggers while enjoying great coffee and the paper.
