Formerly known as Ekodrôme, Ekoplaza is a natural food store chain. Stocks organic produce, many veg products, deli foods, and more. It's between Ledig Erf and Oudegracht (south). Open Mon-Fri 8:30am-8:00pm, Sat 8:30am-6:00pm, Sun 10:00am-6:00pm.

This shop is unfortunately not fully vegan but does have a wide selection of all the vegan staples, from fruit and veg to patés and dairy-free cheese. Vegan items are labelled and allergens marked in bold. There are lots of brands from all over the world so it's a good place to find something that you haven't tried before, such as a new type of non-dairy ice-cream or milk. It's a little expensive, but generally worth it for the quality.
Pros: choice for vegans, central location

For a low-oil vegan from the SF Bay Area, I appreciate what's available here compared to local chain supermarkets and prices aren't outrageous.
Pros: clean, well-stocked, good variety
Cons: limited produce
